>>71553669
Haven't heard anything on your chart, but loveless, which I thought was pretty good, but one album isn't really enough to base a rec off of. Maybe I'm too much of a pleb for chart threads and for /mu/.
How do I stop being an angsty little faggot that has listened to NIN almost every single day for over a year and a half now? Please help me.

How to Destroy Angels.
Now fuck off.
>>71553494
Listen to Bowie instead.
Trent loves him and it will make you happy.
>>71553542
Yes I've gone through that all as well. Same with Gary Nyman, Joy Division and every other artist that NIN's done a cover of. I don't think that really helps at all.
Any other bands or albums like this?
I guess I mean in terms of vocals, or at least anything that is not related to Owen or the most recent LP. The new LP had extremely similar instrumentation but, naturally, Kinsella's voice changed a lot and I was interested in finding stuff similar to the original release. Nothing quite evokes the same feelings from Owen or their new LP.

Maybe the closest thing I can think of would be Minus The Bear. But you're right, this shit has a sound of its own and it's hard to find similar stuff
>>71553405
The One Up Downstairs is extremely similar because it's basically the same band.
Clever Girl is like an instrumental version.
But yeah despite being so influential it's hard to think of a band that has the same vibe.
This album is actually really fucking good

Cocaine: The Album
That said. Light years more interesting than Standing on the Shoulder of Giants
The Beatles in stereo awful, considering they weren't even in the studio when it was mixed, but everywhere I have found is in stereo. Where would one get the mono versions of these albums?
Especially pic related

Fuck I'm a dumbass
Some record stores carry them in mono.
>>71552975
that's where youre wrong, Martin was just as gifted in his production as the beatles were in songwriting
This is terrifying. How can you enjoy this? It gives me a panic attack.

stop forcing this shitty meme
Why is Geogaddi becoming a meme, please stop. It's not that terrifying, and while it does have spooky parts it's not that bad.
Is there a female singer from the early 2000 that could beat Avril in the qt scale

The Best Damn Thing [RCA, 2007]
i don't even care if she's really punk or not (as if), I just wish she'd act like it ("Girlfriend", "When You're Gone"). *

Also, share bands and songs that sound like them

You know I guess I can see that. Maybe you outgrew it, but I feel like when some Two Door songs come on shuffle they're so groovy and it just sounds nice
