Eh, I feel that Rogers/Edwards honestly belong to a time when, for a decade or so, black america was well on its way to becoming just another working middle class ethnic group like the Irish or the Italians.
A time when you had guys like Chic, Marvin Gaye, Michael Jackson, Quincy Jones, etc, who were all making fantastic, complex, musically mature stuff that was easily on par with the best that white musicians could offer.
And just like that, the the 80's came and the jews just HAD to come in and push hip hop and modern hood nigger culture down the throats of a black america that at the time, desperately, and honestly wanted to be middle class like the rest of us, and they did it just as all those fatherless kids that now existed thanks to the (((welfare state))) were all hitting the street.
Blacks, mentally, may not really be cut out on average for anything beyond blue collar work and the arts/athletics, but that doesn't mean that most of them aren't fundamentally decent people who just want to live and love like the rest of us.
No, the real redpill is understanding that they are victims of the Jew just as much as whites are, and that the modern rise of ever-worsening nigger culture over the past 30 or so years was 100% intentional and provoked by those hook nosed kikes who wanted their brown cattle to be dumb and controllable.
Black Nationalism and White Nationalism share the same, singular enemy. We just need to awaken more minds to that fact.
Why did the early punk bands respect The Who more than the other 60's rock bands?
They were the godfathers of punk. Duh.
But all the punk bands admired the Rolling Stones just as much, so...
The Who, compared to other bands, had a ton of stage presence. And they were loud. If my memory doesn't fail me for a long time they held the record of loudest rock show. And, in addition, their stage presence was less about the way they dressed and more about the way they acted.

I thought I heard Johnny Rotten trash talk Mick Jagger, though I guess it could have just his act. I think Jagger bailed out Sid Vicious after he went to jail for killing Nancy.
What's /mu/'s opinion on Preoccupations?

Essential triggered-core
>>71559404
Preoccupations was disappointing but Viet cong and women were great
I recently started to listen to The Velvet Underground, especially their first album The Velvet Underground & Nico, which is a great album btw. I'd like to know from other Velvet Underground fans what's your favourite album or song by theirs that I should give a listen.

Alright mu, what are your thoughts on piracy? Does pirating music negatively affect the music industry, or is there some benefit to spreading links in sharethreads and such?
When I'm not broke as shit and have a well paying job I'll buy music. Get off my dick for now breh
I don't believe in intellectual property
If you want to create music and share it with the world you are welcome to, but don't think for a moment that you have created anything "new" and that the world owes you something for that.
If you have a medium to market your music and people pay for it then great
>>71559129
So you feel you're entitled to free music? Why?

Why isn't this praised as one of the greatest albums of all time?
Not only was it brilliantly experimental, the songs are really fucking solid. Was the public not ready for it? Are we still not ready?
>>71558862
its generic pop indie rock shit.....
>>71558880
That's a lot of words spent saying nothing anon
