When did you realize In Colour is the best album of the past decade.
Probably 6 months ago.
Personally I think Blonde is AOTD, but In Colour is definitely up there.

ITT: Overrated by normies, underrated by /mu/
pink floyd and everyone who sounds like them are the bad side of prog
normies sayin this is ye's best work when we really know it's his 3rd best even tho 90% of mu insists it's his worst
Finally got around to listening to this unironically and fucking loved it
Can someone explain to me how /mu/ feels about this this thing, in one corner it's"it's a meme because we love it so much, at the end of the day, we love it to death since it first came out and the haters are sheeple newfags that took the meme seriously" and in the other corner it's like"those are newfags, we're mocking it cause it sucks, and we've been doing that since the beginning". Which crowd is the newfags? Personally, I think it's a gorgeous album, and don't see how it sucks.
>>71609431
It's shit.
>>71609431
it's an amazing album and I'm sure a lot of people here agree
>>71609431
it gets worse after each relisten
Admit it.
You secretly miss your Dad rock.
ITT: Post your absolute favourite dad rock song to make others nostalgic and drop the pretentious act to become comfy again.
Dad rock resurgence is upon us. It is written

Why do Trout Mask Replica, Hot Rats, and In the Court of the Crimson King all get dadrock passes? /mu/ has always liked dadrock this is not new
>>71609293
this
dadrock is a buzzword and literally just means "old rock"
>>71609285
I love all of Queen's first seven albums. Queen II is actually one of my favorite albums of all time.
Post five rappers on par with him.

Anybody, Kendrick is supremely overrated and that's not even an edgy thing to say. "The ghetto.. is.. a beautiful rose..." shut the fuck up dude
I'm poor like fucking Kenny from South Park, live in a shit place with a shit frustrating life and all i think about is moving away from my parent's to live decently. Give me some albums that i could relate to, something to take out this frustration or something about going away, help me turn this shit vibe into something more interesting with music :^)

At the Drive-In / The Mars Volta
By the End of Tonight
The Octopus Project
Old 97's
This year's release is Demonseed also from DFW but I havent heard too many. Last years was Cross Record from Dripping Springs followed by Street Sects from Austin. I was at the album release show for that Toadies album and have been following them since the Velvet demo. Although not as early as some friends who saw them at diy places that were just warehouses.

"This is seriously still better than the original song."
I swear people who blindly like these old timey swing covers are fucking autistic accountants that don't understand intent or meaning behind songs
example:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KSSa0-oAnIo
and this is coming from someone who's actually seen post modern jukebox live
singing talent and big band does not automatically = good
