its not good
buy the album shit face. he has a daughter 2 feed
Just listen to the album on NPR
I'm conflicted about this album. The story behind it, as well as the lyrics, are heartbreaking yet fantastic, but it's so dull music wise, especially compared to Phil's other works. I do like it a lot, but I find the instrumentation holds it back from being a 9 or 10.
ITT: post the 9 albums you've most recently listened to, regardless of how much you enjoyed them or not. Others judge you, tell you what to listen to next
>>71628713
as popular as prince is i've never actually listened to an album by him, was it good
>>71628869
Yes, imo. "It's gonna be lonely" is one of my favorites of all time
Just finished listening to I Remember Everything for the first time, pretty good
>>71628869

What do you think is Madlib's best work?
Rock Konducta
Madvillainy.
>>71628681
Some of the tracks on champion sound are really good, shitsville and thuggin from pinata and the tracks he gave to Mos Def on the ecstatic are the best.
There is nothing inherently wrong with the genre that's come to be known as nu-metal and anybody who thinks there is, is a lemming
>>71628675
I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with any genre, but there is definitely a disproportionate amount of shitty music in certain genres; nu metal being one of them.
>>71628696
Name one genre without a disproportionate amount of shitty music
>>71628675
I unironically like nu-metal because it sounds nice and gives me nostalgia to the 2000's but the lyrics in a lot of songs are
just too edgy and shit, I still listen to Element Eighty, Breaking Benjamin, Story of the year, Thousand Foot Krutch, Incubus.
How do I into Drake Bell?

Admit it /mu/ the only reason why you dislike this man because of his sexuality
hes the best electronic artist out right now.
>>71628468
I don't mind him, but his fans are the gay equivalent of grimesfags.
If you actually want to be able to talk about him, don't make threads like this.
>>71628468
>you'll never fondle his down dog in yoga while he wears those tight yoga shorts
Seriously this man is sexy, I don't think I've ever been attracted to man, nor wanting to dominate his boipucci this much, especially coming from a guy who freely checks out women's asses at work even when people are around
>>71628468
No, he really isn't the best electronic artist out right now. His sound design is interesting enough but musically he doesn't hold my interest, at all. And yeah, maybe his overly sexualized music videos are a bit of a turn off for me too.
Post em

What does /mu/ think of Pearl Jam?
Would be ok if the singer didn't sound like he is choking on semen
Ten was great at the time
Most of it sounds horribly dated now.
>>71628342
Ten is a 9. They don't have an album over a 6 after that. However their two best songs, Better Man and Daughter, aren't on their best album.
What are some modern albums that you think will go down as classics in 40-50 years?
Death Grips is going to be looked back upon as the most important artist of the 2010s
Childhood is adoring Bjork
Adulthood is realizing Kate Bush makes more sense
Nah, adulthood is realizing the two have very few similarities and that the comparison is quite ridiculous
childhood is adoring beach house
adulthood is realizing cocteau twins make more sense
Childhood is idolizing butt rock and dad rock. Adolescence is idolizing jazz and classical music. Adulthood is realizing that crunkcore makes more sense.
