Still kind of freaked out by story about the one boy who was abducted and survived.
>buy trumpet
>spend weeks trying to learn how to play it to no avail
I can't even get it to make any noise. What am I doing wrong?
You gotta kinda do the horse lips thing where you rattle your lips back and forth
well you have to blow with your lips like you're making a fart noise, the trumpet makes noise via vibrations created by your mouth/lips
>>71721858
did you try searching for a youtube video that would explain the most basic aspect of every brass instrument?
This is her best album and Clam Crab Cockle Cowrie is her best song
Also Joanna with bangs > modern Joanna
>>71721837
mah nigga
The day OP was right
Except I prefer inflammatory writ it makes me happy
I would agree with you if Ys didn't exist.
What does /mu/ think of this guy?
He seems pretty diverse in his sound.

Had to kids in my English class (one of who was wearing a shirt with this guys face on it) say he has a lot of fire beats. Both were white.
I hate him. Haven't listened to a single song of his yet tho.
I can only go to 1 day to Lolla, and these are the cool bands each day that I like.
>thursday: muse, CTE, spoon, migos, gallagher
>friday: killers, snake, gramatik, foster the people
>saturday: alt-j, mac demarco, leon
>sunday: arcade fire, shins, car seat headrest
What do you guys think? Im probably thinking thursday.
>likes migos
You should save the money and use it to buy a rope and then hang yourself with that rope
>>71721608
of all the trash shit you decided migos was the worst on ops list
y'all should see if there's a 2 for 1 rope deal or smthn
>>71721876
There's some bad shit on there but the fact that someone comes on /mu/ and likes Migos at the same time is honestly disgusting.

wickywickywick
Ok that's fucking it.
I've listened many songs by her, I really like her.
But never heard her songs album-wise. So where should I start?
PLAIN GOLD RING ON HIS FINGER HE WORE
Her debut album, Little Girl Blue is a great place to start. After that it gets patchy with shitty record companies releasing any old crap without her consent, often with sickly strings dubbed in.
Other great albums:
Pastel Blues
Nina Sings the Blues
Black Gold
Wild is the Wind
High Priestess of Soul
>>71721127
Much as I like Nina, I prefer White Gold's version.

PARADISE
Now that the dust has settled, can we agree this is the return to form from Drake we've been waiting for?
>>71721036
yeah that's not far fetched, was pleasantly surprised desu
Not one bit. The whole thing is garbage and he is continuing to hijack other people's sounds. Drake's time has come and gone.
>>71721219
Still he is at an all time high in terms of popularity..
Why is this album on most prog rock recommendation lists?
Prog rock is probably my favorite genre, and I've heard a decent amount of it, so I was pretty excited to listen to this, but it was very unremarkable. Is it on the "essentials" lists because of historical significance? Or because it's a good bridge between classic rock listeners to get into prog rock? Because based on the merits of the music, it's not that great.
>>71720883
Are you trying to cheat me? It's a great album.
Lamb Lies Down is better
Yeah I am confused. Its a great album. It has lots of Prog influence. IMO, its one of Genesis' strongest albums.
What does /mu/ think of Tears for Fears?
Do you enjoy any of there songs and if so got a favorite?
I really enjoyed most I've heard from them, but I only surfed youtube. Shout, Everybody Wants to Rule the World etc., great songs.
I've been listening to them again lately. Forgot how good they were and their music seldom seems dated.
Go with Mad World.
Top-tier 80's pop band that actually got better in the 90's. Raoul and the Kings of Spain is probably their best. Their comeback album "Everybody Loves a Happy Ending" is some great Beatley pop music.
>hopes for Turbografx 16
