New song called Silent Night playing.
All the contrarian faggots saying the beat on this sucks need to get their heads out of their dirty hipster asses.
>B-but, it's basic! Sounds like a 4-year-old produced it!
Simple =/= bad. Some of the biggest bangers in rap have simple beats.
>Generic trap beat!
Nigga, show me one other beat that's come out this year that's as hard as this. Please.
>He's a sellout! Nothing like TPAB!
Fuck off. That's what everyone else said about i when it first dropped.
Everyone, go do yourselves a favor and listen to this on max volume through some decent speakers AT LEAST three times. THEN you can talk about it.
>>71885855
>Tell me who the bitch nigga hating on me
We are never going to get that track ever especially since he's gone into full coonery mode again
Niggers are black
>>71885855
I'll play it three times but lord knows radio won't. Better hope he has some good friends over at Spotify because it being part of a popular playlist is the only way this bitch ass song will chart.
And why is he throwing all these subliminals at Big Sean? Even today, Big Sean's track with Mike Will came out today and not even 12 hours later comes Kendrick Track on a Mike Will beat? Really nigga? What's the deal did Big Sean ask Ye to delete all Kendrick's ghost verses?
Genric tumblr girl soft rock
generic mom-core soft rock
>>71886417
Yeah, but it's god tier generic mom-core soft rock.
This band gets way more hate than it deserves. Their hard stuff is actually not bad at all.
Prove me wrong.

When will "experimental hip hop" become legitimately experimental? (Pic related, falls short)
niggas on the moon
>>71885200
This album is possibly the most experimental album of all times.
This man hasn't released one bad track in my opinion during his whole studio album career.
I'm seriously, into this new song so much. I know some people are calling it just generic commercial crap, but seriously. As pleb as it might be to say this, it really does get better with every listen. Go watch it a few more times. It starts feeling right by the 3rd time.
I am so, so excited.
PS: I guess this proves that tracklist that came out is BS, Nothing about "HUMBLE." on there.
>>71884748
This is so fucking amazing. Such an infectious hook.
I fucking hate the first verse, it just rubs me the wrong way. Rest of it is pretty promising
How many threads do we need for this one mediocre song?

>Kendrick puts out a seemingly shallow banger as a single for his album
Wonder how it works in context of the album.
Seriously thought what's he planning?
There's a ton of meaning to it. Everything is an oxymoron. The beat is very reminiscent of the Memphis rap scene from the 90s, and back then the lyrics were always back styling and flexing. I think he's taking that and molding it into something else. You want to get up and feel prideful and dance to the song but instead he tells you to sit down.
He tells you to remain calm and keep your head level. The photoshop/naturality line is also very important and aids the theme even further. He takes a seemingly attractive model, then removes her from heavy video/photo editing on both her face and body.
It shows that we're all the same. We all have our faces dotted with spots or pimples here and there from time to time, with our own little other "imperfections" to boot. He also puts himself through that photoshop editor. He shows you that he's also human.
I think it's a beautiful meaning. If TPAB was a comment on being black in America (amongst other things) then his newer album will focus on the trials and tribulations of being human.

tl;dr fag lol
Do you agree with me that Grimes is a music genius? How could a single person to have such a huge talent?
Unequivocally kill yourself faggot

I have a good memory attached to "visions" but I have to disagree.

Do awkward nu males who keep twitter accounts and follow the NBA out of white guilt still think he's God's gift to hip-hop? Or have we finally moved beyond 2013?
What is your favorite Death Grips track?

The Bob Dylan thing is wrong, switch it with the girlfriend one.
Only the Bob Dylan part is true. Its for the most part just folk.
The point of these threads is to critically analyse musical traditions from all over the world, including the western pop canon, and perform discourse on the topic. This discourse shapes what is allowed to be discussed and who is allowed to take part. As a shibboleth against lowbrows, the highest caliber of dank memes is used as communication. By doing this, we can create a utopia for true music lovers and colonise the planet, solar system, and galaxy. Every single utterance here is broadcast wirelessly, somewhere, some time, and will as such be launched into the infinity of thoughts.
