Opinions?
I unironically listen to it when I'm drunk or angry at something, 10/10 therapy music
NLDW is better.

Pretty damn good, still feel like a few too many songs sound like they're going for the same thing, there's very little to differentiate them in terms of anything at all, and not in a way where it adds cohesion. I wish the album had more tracks like Fuck That on it, ie instrumentally diverse ones.
To me Lost Boys, Black Jack, Double Helix, The Cage all kind of sound like they're doing the same exact thing. Stark contrast here would be niggas on the moon which obviously is known for being super cohesive, but in terms of ideas and song writing I actually think every single song on that album is going for its own thing, no two songs are the same.
Is Madvillainy the greatest underground hip-hop album ever?

is it?

There are actually a few nice song even if you don't agree with what he's saying some of the beats and melodies are amazing.
And excluding all the dumbshit he says on the outro of the final song it does feel climatic the way the music subtly builds up and his voice becomes destorted and shit.
Especially the "amer-kkk-line"
Even if you think that's a dumb thing to say you gotta admit it was well done and clever the way he did it.
Does /mu/ sing along to music when they're alone? What's that one song you just can't help singing along to? What albums would you add to this chart?
Please sing your hearts out friends
This and ITAOTS are probably the two I sing along to the most
>>71942265
i dig the inclusion of divorce lawyers.
hot fuss is the supreme overlord of singalong music btw, i probably know all those songs by heart
Entry level core edition
Horrible album covers for great records.
agreed
mike love should have been the main focus of every beach boys album cover
what is it even supposed to be? turds on a piss stained wall?
I'll start: Was finally invited to a party for once a year ago before I became a total recluse and stopped going out. Decided after being on /mu/ for a few years I wanted to impress some chads and show 'em how cool I was by showing them my superior taste in la musique. I was offered the aux cord after a couple hours so I put on Radiohead and then Swans. Everyone there looked at me strange and asked me to turn it off. As I was super embarrassed, I just said it was experimental and that they wouldn't understand and proceeded to stop talking the rest of the night and never was invited to another party.

Hey /mu/
I'd consider myself quite uneducated when it comes to musicians and albums, I know a few but I feel as if I should know more. Suggest albums and artists?
>Current artists I listen to include Mac Demarco, Tame Impala, Melody's Echo Chamber, Death Grips, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Drake, Post Malone, Jinsang, Coldplay, Radiohead, Nirvana, Led Zeppelin etc
Pick random albums and listen to them
You'll have to do your own work if you want to find a band besides your /mu/core tier list
>>71927935
Entry level. First listen to mu core chart
>>71927974
Don't do this, you'll force yourself into music you don't care about
Based on what you already like, give these a try: MF Doom, clipping, Smashing Pumpkins, Failure, Neutral Milk Hotel, Animal Collective
