Hey /mu/ what's up? So I'm currently working as an audio engineer for a casino, and as you would expect i've got to manage a lot of things. Between all the responsibilities, there's this one which has been bugging me: We need ambiental music for the restaurant, no one seems to know what they want for the music in that place but haven't liked anything i've put before, including several music channels on tv. So I'd really appreciate a brainstorm. I'm thinking maybe something like Yanni, Frank Sinatra, Michael Buble and stuff like that. so as i said it's a casino so consider the following:
> lots of ancient people
> preferably great classics that everyone would enjoy

HALP PLS
The Necks - Unfold
Lisa Hilton - Nocturnal
Don Caballero - American Don
Pell Mell - Interstate

Forgot to say, i need videos, so preferably some cool concerts or idk, i'm really desperate to find something my boss won't have anything to complain on
Yesterday, I made a post about how music as a medium (and all art in general) is in its death throws. Mainly because the rise of the internet and technology.
Everyone mocked me yet no one was able to refute it.
A single list which included Gorillaz was posted as proof that """art""" is still alive.
When will you accept its dead?
All we need is a couple of wars and this post-modernist shite will be erradicated. Also how is Stoner depressing?
>>71966762
a) You've never been in a war.
b) You have no understanding of post-modernism or why it exists.
c) kys
>>71966699
Everyone mocked you because you don't give any arguments as to why it is dying. Music and art have existed since the beginning of humankind. Claiming that it is dying "because of the internet and technology" is plain retarded. If anything, it is now much easier to access it.
how can anyone like this shit?
>>71966674
Denzel was amazing, Yachty was pretty good, Kodak - hilarious.
Pretty entertaining overall.
>>71966674
freestyles and cypher are retarded anyway
>>71966683
entertaining to laugh at, yeah. then you realise this is the new shell of rap and hip hop. do you want this?
What does /mu/ think of this qt and her music?
>>71966628
>What does /mu/ think of this qt
looks ugly
>and her music?
idk lol
>>71966628
i really wish people would either post the name of the artist in their post or the filename. i know i can just reverse image search, it would just save like 10 seconds per post for everyone who wants to be invested in the discussion.
>>71966628
>What does /mu/ think of this qt
Stop objectifying her
>and her music
I like her music a lot

I think that's all he needs, it's generally going to be well received, and some people will adore some will merely enjoy it, but that ending is going to make headlines come Friday.

im going to see bad religion for first time this summer. I love no control and suffer
>>71966216
I listened to that album way too much freshman year of high school. I kind of just got sick of Nirvana in general after awhile. I still enjoy the "B-sides" better than the stuff on their main albums. I wish they would've made a second album with Sub Pop in between Bleach and Nevermind.
Fantano confirmed to make an amoeba what's in my bag
What will he pick?

Link me to the thread bro, sounds cool (in a post-ironic, pun intended kind of way).

Quick summery - "bruh, my copyright privilege is showing, bruh, I'mma gonna steal this shit, lemme fame talk yo boss, bruh, you don't understannndddd, it's me, bruhhhh, Off Brand Bob Dylan." - Neil Young.
Neil
If that was in Texas the clerk literally could have unloaded an entire clip into his back and it would have been perfectly legal. Shits medieval here like that.
>>71965784
>>71965813
I know Neil's in the wrong here, but I have to admire how ballsy he was to go in and just say "I'm taking this"
This is a step above anything that even Robert Fripp would do
