>Lennon occasionally urinated out of his apartment’s window onto the street below, and often started arguments with the audience, so that eventually one member of the audience would jump on stage to hit him, but it was Fascher’s job to protect Lennon and the group. In some occasions beer bottles were thrown at them. Fascher remembered Lennon often greeting the audience with a "Heil Hitler", and a Nazi salute: "He'd pull out a black comb and pretend it was a moustache... people laughed."
>Lennon was missing for a performance one evening, and Fascher found him in the toilet with a woman. He broke up the tête-à-tête with a bucket of cold water which he threw over them both, and ordered Lennon onto the stage. Lennon was furious, and complained that he could not go on stage dripping wet. Fascher snapped back: "I don't give a shit, you're going onstage and I don't care if you do it naked." A short time later the audience was roaring with laughter. Fascher ran to see what the commotion was, and saw Lennon playing guitar, but only wearing underpants with a toilet seat around his neck.

I see the similarities in the singing style and some of the instrumentation of these songs, but if you want to make your point you could you at least make this easier than listening to a full 40 minute album and being familiar with the Tame Impala discography.

I am agreeing with OP, it seems to me like Tame Impala's style was heavily inspired by this band to the point that the existence of Tame Impala is just to be a version of this band that sings in English.
However you have to admit that the way that OP formed his post makes it hard for people to see the similarities unless they actually try to find it themselves.
What is like Pitchfork but not Pitchfork?

What's the best movie soundtrack ever? Pic not necessarily related, but it is the top-selling soundtrack in history.
Eric Serra's OST for The Professional (1994)
One of my favorites
Where do I start on classical music? What are the best recordings of Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, etc.?
Listen to Edda Moser singing Mozart arias, and maybe Dvorak's 9th symphony.

Touch is really great for walking around at night, but Mystic Sheep is insane. I have no idea what that horn around 1:48 is but its so exciting.
Against their foe, aging.
2016 was a landmark year, as we all know, with "hell be fine", and the passing of Bowie and Prince. This year, longtime surviver Chuck "Camera" Berry was finally defeated. May he rest in peace.
Who will survive this year, /mu/? Who will perish? Will meme magic kill again?
Shall we post musicians we think will die, someone bookmark the thread, and on January 1st 2018 we'll compare who we guessed to who actually died
pretty sure cee lo green will die

Paul will go before Ringo, but probably not this year if he was healthy enough to make songs with Kanye.
Post an album and others say which song they'd delete from it.
I'd delete the title track.
The Future is an unnecessary interlude that actually disrupts the flow of things.

Ya Meat is Murder is one of the worst closers I've ever heard. It's a shame, since it's one of the best Smiths albums though.
>>72071620
The Future is one of the bleakest tracks on the record
Why would you remove a single track from Deathcon? I love it as is
