I'M SCARED TO LISTEN
what are good songs for sampling drum beats?
Led Zeppelin - When The Levee Breaks
>>72171564
learn to program a drum machine. Or make your own live recordings of drum beats
>>72171564
You mean drum sounds or actual loops?
Either way, Bill Withers has a lot of open drums on his stuff, so does Isaac Hayes, James Brown, Curtis Mayfield. These are all soul/funk drums, not sure about electronic but you can always download an 808 or 707 pack and program your own. Ableton and FL Studio have them as stock drum kits.
>gives you guitar
>"I bet you can't impress me, anon-san"
What do you play? You only get 1 chance at this..
>whips out cock
Does this impress you?

wtf happened to /mu/
>>72171694
this is his yard now anon.
U2 doesn't have any good songs, much less any good albums. They were never post-punk and never had any credibility or legitimacy whatsoever. They were never good live either.
>>72171441
>the unforgettable fire doesnt exist
Come back when you finish high school
They had a few good-ish songs early on. But these pretty much just sounded like Echo & the Bunnymen. Bono is an alright singer if you can ignore the fact that he's Bono.
>>72171441
U2 are a US military propaganda unit
Name a better post-punk album
Hex Enduction Hour
Chocolate Starfish
>U2

Is cake good?
I love cake but maybe i am biased. The first gril i loved played trumpet and i played guitar.
they have a cool distinct style but not a lot of interesting songwriting to back it up
>>72171222
did she have a short skirt and a looooooooonnnnnnnng jacket?
They're good at what they do, they just don't do anything that warrants discussion.
all memes and waifufagging aside, is she the most unique and best female pop artist of this decade?
>>72171169
Yes, she also has the best pop album of the last 20 years.
She's B E A U T I F U L
I could stare at OP's picrelated for hours
Adele or 'Yonce
Enough with this gay ass rap crap and mediocre music this board has been reduced to, let's analyse some real music. I'll start:
"Alceu Valenca was born in countryside Pernambuco, Northeast Brazil. He is considered the most successful artist in achieving an aesthetic balance between traditional northeastern Brazilian music and a broad range of electronic sounds and effects from pop music. One can find traces of maracatu, coco and "repentes de viola" (improvising fast-paced Brazilian folk music) in most of his songs. Alceu was able to utilize the electric guitar the electric bass, and lately even a synthesizer was added to his broad scope of musical instruments.
Because of that, Alceu was able to recreate Northeastern traditional music, like baião, coco, toada, maracatu, frevo, caboclinhos, embolada and repentes: all sung with a sometimes rock sometimes alternative sounding music background. His music and his themes are intangible, universal and unlimited. However, his aesthetic basis is genuinely Brazilian Northeastern music."

Can we get an emo thread? Can we discuss this album or other great ones? Can we agree about The Graduate being one of the best closers of the genre?
>>72171012
>emoe

>>72171012

Is Nick the real patrician choice?
Love Nicky boy.
>>72170795
What do you think?
Nick Cave is the solution /mu/ has always been looking for, they just haven't realised it yet
Now that the dust has settled what are your thoughts on it?
The dust has settled for over a year now, anon.
It's overrated.
There's already a thread
it>>72169640
Mu.
Why arent there any famous rock bands today? In the same height as led zeppelin, rolling stones, the doors, the beatles?
What happened?
Also tame impala isnt even close.
