Really makes u think, huh.
Explain why you care so much about marina?
She's literally never been relevant.

Unironically Charli XCX is probably the best "alternative" pop act out right now. Even though she isn't topping charts she continues a nice level of consistency by riding waves that slightly elude the average pop music listener such as witch house early on and PC music recently.
IF I HEAR THIS SONG ONE MORE FUCKING TIME I AM GOING TO EXPLODE ITS SO FUCKING GENERIC I HATE IT HOLY SHIT
I SWEAR I HEAR IT WALKING AROUND THE SHOPS AT LEAST ONCE A DAY

What does /mu/ think of drone/doom masters OM?
>>75069126
is this death grips in 10 years
Can't stand them. Ruined the genre.
I really liked their stuff when I first heard it, used to listen to pilgrimage all the time. These days I just never want to listen to them. The more time that passes the more forgettable they become
Whoever decided to bump Untrue out of /mu/-core needs to kill themselves. The most beloved album in all of electronic music and you decide to just ignore it? Kill yourself.
>>75068915
it wasnt very good
>>75068941
Tell that to the droves of fans who enjoyed it, the number of which probably far exceeds the oldfags behind the adoration of shit albums like Pet Sohnds
>>75068915
Thats Untrue
Shuffle your library, and, with complete honesty, post the first twelve songs that come up in your queue with no defense of yourself allowed. Other anons judge you based on this totally arbitrary, totally unrepresentative musical portrait of yourself. Good times had by all. Music recs based on our shitty taste seem appropriate.
Mine:
>"No Children" - The Mountain Goats
>"The Flood and the Storm" - Woody Guthrie
>"Punch Drunk Grinning Soul" - Flogging Molly
>"Young Lady" - Kid Cudi
>"Red Bowling Ball Ruth" - The White Stripes
>"Lullabye" - Grizzly Bear
>"Christine Sixteen" - Kiss
>"Humbleberry Pie" - Birdcloud
>"The Boardwalk Body" - CKY
>"Woman King" Iron & Wine
>"Alone in Vegas" - Pusha T
>"Here's to Life" - Streetlight Manifesto
The honesty of my list ought to be apparent. This will be more fun and hopeless if we all remain as honest as possible about whatever comes up in the queue.

For context, me and few buddies did this earlier just with Spotify while drinking and it was hilarious.

h-here I go
>Little Fury Bugs (Live with the magik*magik orchestra) - Death Cab for Cutie
>Before I Die - Mushroomhead
>Got the life (Live at CBGB) - Korn
>Some Trouble - Two Gallants
>Prelude 3.0 - Slipknot
>The Calendar Hung Itself... - Bright Eyes
>Pimpin' - Hollywood Undead
>Crosseyed and Painless (Live) - Talking Heads
>Wearing a Tie - The Early November
>Recycled Air (Live on KEXP) - The Postal Service
>Session 05 - The Early November ( I don't even think this is a song)
>Such Great Heights - The Postal Service
This is a mix between my cringy, younger and angrier self and a few things I actually like. Somehow out of all the artists and songs I have so many live ones came up when they are few. I fell for the apple meme and a lot of these are iTunes aac files that I still keep and don't listen to, while the other is lossless which I've recently collected. I think this is an observation rather than defense. I've kept the list honest.

I went from more prog rock to indie folk and pop as I got older so I rate thee as ACCEPTABLE.
Don't really have much in the way of recs because I'm kinda drunk. Some of Stars' shit might be intriguing to you if you like TPS.
>>75068636
Stopping listening to music because of something the artist did is retarded
It's like people who say "no I don't like MJ's music because he touched kids"
You clearly never liked the music in the first place if you're willing to stop listening because of something they did that has LITERALLY ZERO IMPACT on the quality of their music
Who was the guy with the 15yo sex slave?

>I listen to everything besides country and rap, anon!
>I listen to everything!
>Haha, except country and rap, right?
>No! I LISTEN TO E V E R Y T H I N G !
I listen to everything except certain electronic genres.

ITT: We make a list of /mu/'s favorite 100 songs of the 2000s.
>go to http://www.ranker.com/list/-and-mu-and-_s-top-100-songs-of-the-2000s-v1/sydneez?publish=true
>upvote the songs you want on the list and downvote the songs you don't want on the list
>after a few days of voting, the top 100 will be the list
>in the final top 100, an artist won't show up on the list more than three times. so in the end, only their top three highest voted songs will make the final list (if they get voted to the top 100)
There probably will be two or three threads on this, so vote while you can.

How do people hate such a wonderful artist?
She's been great since Burn Black/Dicknail, but I catch shit every time I say I like her more than Nirvana.
