I've always wondered what was the opinion of DJ's or electronic music performers about their drugged audience. do they know about it ? are they aware that a decent third of their audience is on hard drugs ? do they feel ashamed ? disappointed ? do they care ?

why do people who are past 25 years old start to listen to generally less "hardcore" music?
regardless of the genre I see people past that age starting to dislike music with hard hitting drums, heavily distorted guitars, edgy lyrics etc...
