I am in desperate need of new music for inspiration. I feel like I am at this point in my music journey where most bands just aren't doing it for me. Hopefully you guys can help me out. I am a huge fan of escapism themes. My favorite band is sky sailing (owl city but with acoustic driven music). The atmosphere it creates is musical but does not drag on and on like a lot of things today. The atmosphere acts more as an effect than the feature of the music. More importantly the vocals are pop sounding. Are there any bands out there with a similar feeling as this? I will link a perfect example of what I am talking about. Any recommendation is appreciated.
