yeah, their first album is one of my favorite albums. I really don't like what they did after that though. It feels like they really dropped the raw, authentic sound for something more produced and plastic sounding.

This guy is such a dismissive shit head. He gave the entirety of Björk's discography poor or terrible ratings, with the exception of Vespertine which he said grew on him when he realized it was "about sex."
I realize it's not cool and punk rock (in the 70s sense) to admit of liking anything more experimental than 3-chord rock n roll but you don't even have to like Bjork's music to realize she's incredibly talented.

I live in Long island in NY, it's pretty lame, mostly generic dad rock tribute bands, metal bands and SoundCloud rappers. the scene is much better in Brooklyn but that's not really local.
