I'm not interesting enough to be an indie musician. I'm not enigmatic like Jai Paul or Burial and I don't have a cool backstory of a "troubled childhood" like King Krule. I should just off myself right now.
Make it all up

If you're that damn bothered then create a character and play that.
julian casablancas was a rich kid growing up and it worked out for him in the end
If he has clinical depression, why haven't he killed himself yet?
I'd kill myself after the marriage stuff if I were him.
He has, they just haven't found his body yet
He knows how it feels to be left high and dry, I reckon he doesn't want to do it to his fans.
Where is everyone?

why can't you fix the links for the mixing and synth videos
this is the second time
What are some good resources for building lyric writing skills?
I have this song but I can't write any lyrics to it. Everything I write sounds so mediocre.

Here is the song. Feedback on the mix and overall "professional' feel of the track would be much appreciated

Gotta love the classics
we post and album and the season it should be associated with. Starting with an easy one
>late autumn
Boards of Canada's entire discography is very seasonal I feel.
The Campfire Headphase is a beautiful summer day.
Geogaddi is a dark autumn day.
MHtRtC is winter.
And Tomorrows Harvest is Spring.
Their EP's also fit pretty well usually, like Trans Canada Highway is spring/summer while Twoism is a cold winter.
>>72853023
I think Autumn in general. I remember listening to it quite a bit whenever the fall semester starts up again.
End of summer
>>72853104
MHtRtC is absolutely spring/summer and absolutely not winter.
TH is winter, but actually less overtly seasonal than their other stuff. It actually works as a summer album for me too (probably all the desert-y promotional stuff around the time of release).
Apart from that, I agree.
This is Chris Cornell's best song.
