The music becomes dark and eerie after knowing that, especially on Word on A Wing where he calls out for god. Or Station To Station

I know Thayil wrote it, but Room A Thousand Years Wide is a thousand times more fucked now.
As a drug addict who went clean after his suicide it just sounds like a song about relapsing. Even more fucked now that if the 'Room' in question is hell, Christians would say he is burning for his suicide. Sad stuff.
