Can't say I've listened to everything here but seems pretty cool.

+Death, Darkthrone, Tom Waits
Is it universally agreed upon that Happy Colored Marbles is the best track?
The Argus is the best song on that album.

>I share a board with this person
cutest girl in the galaxy~
Who here only listens to instrumental music?
i love a lot of instrumental music but why limit your horizon like that?
>>73013807
It's not that I'm purposely limiting myself, but I've grown to dislike music with a forced narrative. Most of it is just narcissistic self promotion, or a shallow message. I do like when vocals are used more as an instrument rather than just telling a story over a beat (so many good beats are ruined by bad lyrics/stories)
Is that from the X Japan documentary? It's out?
Why is Christgau so fucking salty?
>>73013761
what album?
What album might this be?
>Acclaimed by (nearly) all

post avant jazzcore
Is it true that listening to music while /high/ makes the experience 10x better?
weed is an amplified
if you enjoy something, then youll enjoy it more
if you hate it, then youll hate it more
The only time i've really heavily focused on music while high was when I listened to The Pod on Dramamine. I kept hallucinating extra bass lines and guitar parts that made the entire album somehow better than it already was.
>>73013546
once I went on the roastie stacey version of 2ch (girlschannel) and they were making fun of this album
Is doing a recording of himself getting head the most juvenile move ever made by an artist of note?
>>73013545
why is pic related and liquid swords being posted here so much recently? I agree they are shit overrated albums but damn
>>73013572
to tell you the truth I haven't even listened to it, I only heard about this factoid the other day and was just curious about other situations like this that have happened
>>73013572
Liquid Swords is probably my favorite hip hop album of all time, and it has been since before I came on here or basically any website of the like and knew the amount of praise it got.
Ready to Die is pretty great, but that skit shouldn't have been there.
1. White Album
2. Revolver
3. Sgt. Pepper
4. Abbey Road
5. Magical Mystery Tour
>>73013488
>no Rubber Soul
>>73013571
It is #6
Abbey Road > Sgt Pepper > White Album > Revolver > Rubber Soul > MMT > Let it Be > Help! > A Hard Days Night > the rest
What are some great abstract hip-hop albums? That's my favorite kind of hip-hop and I wanted to dig deeper in the genre.
MF Doom is the best the genre has to offer
This and Iscosceles - Face the Music
And here we have the "abstract (c)rapist". In order to seem like he's intelligent, he listens to (c)rap that does not meet the conventional rules of hip hop. However, as everyone knows, he's just as stupid and just as low on the food chain as every other (c)rapist.
How can you say rap is shit when this exists?
That is a lot closer to syrup R&B than rap tho
I live in Houston, and we're embarrassed of this shit.
>>73013460
>embarrassed of one of the greatest hip hop album ever made
describe your live animal collective experiences
just went to their show in New Haven for the first time, pretty good
>describe your experiences
>describes his as pretty good
besides the fact the animals collective is hipster trash, kys op
>>73013459
i used to belive it too, but i saw them last moday on DC and i had a blast, they are really good live
I saw them last monday.
They played Sweet Road without guitars using samples and did the trance version of Bees.
A few years ago I saw them on the Centipede Hz tour at the show they made the live album for. I am 100% sure Deakin's mom was in the VIP balcony just swinging around identically to her son.
So that was cool.
Has anyone been to boston calling? Is it worth it? The lineup sounds pretty good this year and I've wanted to go the past couple of years.
i can only afford sunday
Sunday has a pretty good lineup, Tool and Cage The Elephant are the shit if you're looking for alternative. Weezer was a good set i heard as well but i cant confirm that.
But fuck honestly i would've went to this shit rather than the shitshow that was Hangout Festival. Still would've seen Chance The Rapper and see Sigur Ros that isnt cancelled because some weather or something.
Deerhoof is amazing

>comedy
They should've saved the money for more bands to play or two.
Literally the entirety of stand up comedy can disappear tomorrow and nothing of value will be ever lost.
