Working sound at a bar right now.
Watching a death grips rip off duo. Right down to the moves Stefan does. The dudes name is also Stefan. This place is empty. I'm cringing pretty hard. These dudes are on tour too. Place is empty.

Literally music for kids
i've seen commercials for this album during NBA games. it's the result of hype and doesn't reflect the quality of the music. not that it's bad music, it's just being marketed as the GOAT. kinda like how beanie babies were marketed as collectables

Who gives a shit? TOP is dying.
So why exactly did he not like Black Sabbath? His reviews were just some ranting about bullshit necromancy that said nothing useful or informative about their albums.
>nothing useful or informative about their albums
welcome to the magical world of Robert Christgau
Christgau just actively dislikes the aesthetic of metal (and its progenitors) so much that it interferes with his ability to be even mildly objective about it.
>bullshit necromancy
He thinks the superficial interest in Satanic stuff is conceptually lame.
>drug-impaired reaction time, long solos
Doesn't like how slack and drawn-out the music is.
>They do take heavy to undreamt-of extremes, and I suppose I could enjoy them as camp, like a horror movie--the title cut is definitely screamworthy. After all, their audience can't take that Lucifer bit seriously, right? Well, depends on what you mean by serious. Personally, I've always suspected that horror movies catharsized stuff I was too rational to care about in the first place.
He can't buy into the dark aspects of it because it comes off like a teenage Halloween party to him.

first for true metal
What would a doom metal waifu dress/look like?
Anybody have some black metal suggestions? I've kinda hit a dead end. I feel like I should enjoy more black metal than I do. Darkthrone is super awesome. I enjoy the atmospheric part, but also the midpace riffs on A Blaze... Earlier stuff like Bathory (even the viking stuff) and Hellhammer are great. Mayhem is all right. Most stuff I've tried isn't bad, it's just not scratching the itch. Like Immortal for example Pure Holocaust is good, just didn't really blow me away. At the Heart of Winter for the other side of them was fine, but was slightly too technical and thrashy. (Not a big thrash guy.) The albums I listened to of Taake had some good parts, but lost me in a bit in others. Just trying to find something that blows me away like Darkthrone while not just being a copy.
when is Hayley gonna go solo? she doesn't need anyone else
neither does my waifu

Not so sure about that, I've only heard her solo on 3 other artists' singles.
On Airplanes by B.o.B she was decent, but sounded very bored and monotone for lyrics that are supposed to be "deep"
On Stay The Night by Zedd she was just very repetitive and sounded like any other singer could've sang on that song, she added nothing to it.
And on the remix of Bury It by CHVRCHES I could barely tell her and Lavren apart.
AND WEEEEEEEEEEE DON'T EVEEEEEEN CARE
This song is amazing. It takes a few listens before you realize how great it actually is.
>>73224533
Well it was actually catchy and one of like three ever SP songs that weren't even slightly edgy, angsty, or experimental. Just good times about youth. Thru the eyes of ruby was better though.
