I've heard it before. In my opinion, it is very repetitive, and the songs are extremely long, but the repetition, surprisingly, doesn't bore me like it should on this album. It's comfy and a nice listen if you just want to relax. It's definitely background music. Don't expect to get too much more out of it than that.
I'll give it a 6.5/10

Damn, I thought this was just me being recommended this by Youtube because I'm a Haruomi Hosono fan. I haven't taken the time to listen to it all the way through, but I recommend you listen to some of his LPs, they're incredible.

In serious discussions of electronic music over the years, I hear this one get mentioned as being fucking great.
Why? I'm listening to part of it now for the first time and am not terribly impressed. And I like 90s electronica. It's pleasant but not absolutey dickballs brilliant.

I tend to agree. I always felt Rhythm & Stealth was the better album. Leftism had a couple of classic pop-electronic tracks for the 90's, but nothing that was worth of the "one of the best of all time" status it had for awhile.

That is arguable as shit, considering The Fall has more Damon than Humanz does. The Fall has some shit tracks, but it also has some great tracks. Meanwhile Humanz is 90% features and the music has become more pop styled.
