PVRIS is my favorite band atm. White noise was unique, and I liked every single track. That almost never happens for me. Their image/aesthetic is really cool too. plus lynn gunn is a QT, which doesn't hurt

Xiu Xiu is my favorite band. I love how experimental they are with so many instruments and how the lyrics are so personal and emotional. I love jaimes voice when he reaches those high notes. There isn't a band that sounds like them

From what I can tell, it's about Phil dying and his spirit transcending his body and becoming one with nature. It's pretty fitting that this was his last album under the Microphones name, it's a closing project as good as it gets.

Is it his best? I don't know. It's definitely up there, depending on the day it might be my favorite, and sometimes I prefer The Glow Pt.2 for its variety and perfect production.
