Probably the most personally influential guitar-based album, it shaped the first two EPs I put out with my band back in high school
This is so fucking good. The drumming in this thing is insane.

daily reminder no white men have gotten a bnm this year.

Wolfgang Voigt isn't white?
Post some vids and change my mind. Fetty Wap is chill af and can sing. Chance the Rapper is weak sauce. Even https://youtu.be/jOf89mv_Cjc is a better listen than any Chance song.
They're both incredibly mediocre so that's not really an interesting opinion
>>73485950
Trap Queen tho. Rest of the album is like old timey crooner music mixed with trap. I dig it a lot.

Is this thread a meme or are you serious, Chance is probably one of the top 10 current rappers

I swear my chart isn't just for the waifus.
>>73485545
Pretty sure I've commented on your chart a few times, but Rock Bottom is crazy good.
>>73485588
Our Mother the Mountain is the best Townes Van Zandt IMO. Also, I love Satan Is Real. I got it for the ridiculous album art, but it's pretty decent bluegrass gospel.
>>73485589
Pretty sure the Hendrix album is the only album I've heard on here.
Why do I like this so much
Because the heart of rock and roll is the beat!
>>73485544
Because the whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost.
>>73486189
And why is it the Alembic Persuader
Ahem
Rick is good, not best though...
>>73485509
This is a pretty subjective question, probably a different correct answer depending on what styles of music you'd like to play. That being said, my favorite is this Mexican P Bass I have with an Ash Neck and modified pick ups. It's not super punchy though so it might not be ideal for metal/punk playing.
ITT: Bands you unironically don't understand how anyone could dislike
there is none because I am not autistic
>>73485475
It's not that I dislike them, it's that I just don't give a shit about them.
Like, if I never heard another track again I wouldn't really give a shit, but if someone else is listening to them in my general vicinity and I hear them I'm not going to get upset either.
-have you ever met any musicians? What were they like? Are there pics of you with them?
>>73485406
I met Geoff Tate from Queensryche in early 2016 when his Operation Mindcrime band somehow got booked in our shitty small-town venue. I'd been involved in audio work around town and the venue called me up to do "band running" for the day (drive them around town, do errands, make sure their rider is provided for).
So I dick around town with the other fellas in the band, hired guns the lot. Then, Geoff Tate himself asks for a ride to an RV store because they need a part for their fuckin toilet.
Never found that part, but Geoff was pretty down to earth and chill, especially considering his meltdown with Queensryche like one or two years prior. He called my hometown primitive, but I guess he wasn't exactly wrong. His voice is so fuckin deep though, you wouldn't expect those super high wails outta him.
I met the lead singer from AJJ. He embodied /pol/'s vision of what a nu-male is. It was insufferable.

Musically autistic/OCD things you guys do?
Anything ranging from extreme organizational habits to outlandishly judgmental consciences.
I keep a digital list of every album/piece I've ever listened to, organized by artist name alphabetically.
I don't because I'm not autistic.
I'm also normie. Got a problem?

in the car I can only have the volume on an even number
sometimes I imagine that non album tracks are on albums so that they're better
I pace my house when listening to music that's energetic/loud/trancey. I also constantly adjust the volume if I'm listening to it on my phone and never find a spot I like
