I just went to a rock concert and I feel awful.

What does /mu/ think about Sid Vicious?
>>73697881
Complete mistake. Glen Matlock was a good bassist and Sid ruined the Sex Pistol's (and punk rock in general's) image.

You can enjoy them too!
Foreigner [Atlantic, 1977]
You've heard of Beatlemania? I propose xenophobia. C
Double Vision [Atlantic, 1978]
I love rock and roll so much that I find myself getting off to "Hot Blooded", a typical piece of nookie-hating cockrock based on a riff-verse-chord change that's (gah) second-generation Bad Company. Other than that, there's nothing here to threaten their status as world's dullest band. Inspirational verse--"She backhanded me 'cross my face". C+
Head Games [Atlantic, 1979]
Not as sodden as you'd expect--these guys are pros and they adapt to the times by speeding up the music. I actually enjoy a few of these songs until I come into contact with the dumb woman-haters doing the singing. I mean, these guys think punks are cynical and anti-life as they complain that the world is all madness and lies and then proceed to rhyme "science" with "appliance" and don't intend a joke. C+
Everything Rocks and Nothing Ever Dies [1990s]
What are some acclaimed albums you can't get into?
it's not that you 'can't get into'
you just don't like it
you don't have to like all acclaimed albums

Uh, Ascension is pretty difficult. I can definitely imagine someone not getting into it.
Can we all agree that 2014 was Fantano's best year?
2012 - 2014 were the years I could take his opinion seriously
His criticism has really degenerated into empty rhetoric and memes
>>73697578
He did get the AOTY 2016 right though.
>>73697572
Most of the time I just watch his meme channel.
I honestly think music is the greatest proof we have that God loves us and wants us to be happy
It makes no sense for us to like music but I want to play and spread the word of the Lord
George Harrison had the right idea 100% as to where he took his solo career
Music is a gift from God so that we can enjoy the world together in times of peace
I love being a musician and every time I jam I think about how thankful I am to be blessed with the gift of music. I think there is a no greater spiritual moment you can have between two people than a jam session.
God be praised
it sucks that 97% of all christian music is shit

As if.
Discuss Animal Collective-related topics (can include solo work of AnCo members.
To get this thread going, feel free to discuss any of the three topics.
-What is the best Animal Collective album?
-Whose solo work is the best among the members?
-Live show experiences?
I met Panda and Geo after a show in Jacksonville
Also, Eucalyptus is god-tier
Panda Bear definitely has the best solo work imo. Person Pitch is possibly the greatest album of the decade, if not top five, and his solo work has always been consistently good. Even back when Animal Collective was just Avey Tare and Panda Bear, all of the great ideas that STGSTV had were clearly all Panda's ideas. Even this far into their career, Panda has always had the best creative ideas, and it shows in their discography.
why was this so underrated
