Lil Boosie is redpilled on the (((TV))) question, says the TV and pop music are turning our kids gay.

Are there any modern "retro" groups who play 1920s-1940s music? I'm not trying to be pic related, but I'm working on a project set in the Great Depression and I'm looking for inspiration.

Max Raabe & Palast Orchester
Also fedoras don't listen to that. Fedoras listen to metal shit like Burzum.

desu, I was trying to find pictures of retro/steampunk fedoras, but it was to no avail

Why did 80's sounding dream pop like Cocteau Twins and A.R. Kane die off? I know the conventional answer is that it evolved into shoegaze, but there's a kind of magic in the early stuff that's been forgotten since then. If I had to describe it, I'd say it's a kind of hazy, mysterious quality that characterizes it. Prominent in bands like The Durutti Column and Pram, as well as Pale Cocoon. It appears to be a mainly UK-based sound.
Do you know what I mean? Are there any bands out there that still produce similar music?

>hazy, mysterious quality
Not all of the bands you mentioned are ethereal wave, but you're thinking of ethereal wave.

Interesting question. Listening to Dead Can Dance link I first think of Enya and New Age-y stuff from the UK.
I guess New Age just hit a crazy peak in the late late 80s (they even made a Best New Age Album category for the Grammy's according to this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New-age_music)

Is the songs "Changes" by Black Sabbath generally considered a good song or a bad song? What is the song's reputation among avid Sabbath fans?

What are some albums/artists who REALLY push it in terms of 'genre' bending? I don't mean stuff like "rock song and then pop song and then acoustic song" more like "happy song" then "fucking dark song" then "polka jazz", some really eccentric types etc

A bit closer than the previously recommended stuff if only for the use of sax. Elephant Gym and Uchu Conbini might also tickle your fancy.
