What's it like to sit in the middle of three galloping dogs?
They responded to my question and said "that's a request, a good request but not a question we're looking for"
I really wish they played river in the valley it's godtier live and sounds nothing like the LP version

>Band takes their albums off of the streaming service you use
Why the fuck does this keep happening? Deathspell Omega just removed the majority of their discography from apple music and I want it back...
Goyim we are not happy with it either! Less bands means less mon- ...i mean customer satisfaction! We want our shek- ...customers to be very happy!

I don’t know who they shitty band is but it’s usually tedious legal reasons rather than a band “taking it off”

Spiderland [Touch and Go, 1991]
Out of Squirrel Bait by Hunglikealbini, a Trojan horse. Extolled for their multipartite songforms and, da-da, dynamic shifts from soft to loud, as well as their intimate knowledge of mental illness, these guys look like unassuming alternative types and in real life may be same. Their sad-sack affect fits right in. But musically--structurally, as one might say--they're art-rockers without the courage of their pretensions. And if you promise not to mention their lyrics they promise to keep the volume down. C+

>There's no rock album as much unlike all other rock albums as Spiderland is. Only Trout Mask comes close, and...it really doesn't. Beefheart is copyable. He's a (difficult) music lesson. Spiderland isn't. It's just there, like the Great Void, mocking us.
>It can't be overrated. There's only one.
>But when every liar says that, I understand it's really hard to believe.
Why are Slint fans so pretentious? I swear. If you replace Slint in this Reddit post to Linkin Park or MCR. That user would be mocked. But for some reason. Shit like this is accepted.

>tfw too stupid to understand what he's saying in these fucking reviews
Why did this guy get so famous in the first place? People shit on fantano but at least he talks about the music.
Is there a point where eclectic tastes in music gets too eclectic for your own good?
not as long as you can back it up with your knowledge
I wish I could still have surprised 'what the fuck am I listening to' reactions to music sometimes. I feel like I could find enjoyment in most everything that's remotely interesting and that's not a feeling I like.
No, as long as you actually do listen to all of it/enjoy all of it. Basically, don't be that one guy that has a bunch of pop albums and a few albums from other genres that only listens to the pop and has the other genres to claim that he has an eclectic taste
Rate, rec and guess things

What is the best album in the pop punk genre?
Ramones s/t
Suburbia
Anthems for a New Tomorrow
Now that the 2010's are 75% over, what albums released so far in this decade should be considered for a top 100 list? Everyone pick one album you want represented and why it should be in the top 100 of the 2010's (so far).
My pick:
M83 - Hurry Up, We're Dreaming (Released October, 2001)
M83 has an amazing catalogue and this double-album is some of the finest work that Anthony Gonzales has ever created. It was his breakthrough album with the huge hit Midnight City, and propelled him from playing small venues (like Black Cat DC where I've seen M83 three times) to opening for Tame Impala at large pavilion shows and one of the headlining acts for various festival shows.
The album's 75+ run time is on the shorter side as far as double albums go, but unlike other double albums released this decade (like Arcade Fire's amazing, but very uneven Reflektor), there are no bad tracks on HUWD. The album is full of singles, experimental tracks, instrumental tracks that link songs together, but it never feels like it loses focus. It begins and ends with two of the best M83 songs of all time, and everything in the middle works extremely well.
I've followed the band since Dead cities was released some 14 years ago and it has been amazing to see the evolution of M83 over their releases. I believe this album should have a spot on the top 100 albums of this decade.
