Hopefully you didn't empty the recycle bin yet and can just recover it otherwise you're making a mistake.
Spiderland is a masterpiece in rock history. Leveraging from experiments of preceding years, Slint is now completing a more sophisticated search on rhythm and resonance, culminating in an almost transcendental quality.
The last piece, Good Morning Captain, acts as a small resurgence of all of these lofty techniques, alternating itself with tones of a wearied guitar, neglected percussion tempos and haunting vocals. The effect is exactly that of erecting an iceberg for tragic suspense. It constitutes one of the most upsetting musical narrations in the history of modern rock.
This is what makes Spiderland a monumental work, in its capacity to construct rock music without reconstructing the stereotypes of its genre, without recourse to iconic sounds or prefabricated codes, that have always constituted the principle channels of rock expression.

Is Kendrick the voice of this new generation?
>>73829747
um yeah kinda
Considering he has way less talent than people think he does, yes, he's the kurt cobain of this generation.
>>73829747
Ehh I'd say nah. I'd say while he's influential to all races, his music is so centralized in being black, nd black culture that it makes it impossible for a teen who's white like myself to really feel he's speaking to any broad voice of this generation. But maybe that's the problem right now is that there are so many different voices for so many different types of people who are able to get some following that there will never be a figure like Cobain again.

if he shaved the pornstache off, then definitely.
Radiohead is the most overrated "band" of all time. They make pop music disguised as art and you faggots eat it all up like the retards you are. LISTEN, this shit is not NOT art. Everything they did with albums OK Computer and onward had been done MANY times before, but they just made them digestible for kissless virgin teens who think to delude themselves into thinking that their taste in music is a sign of intellectual superiority.
Thom Yorke is a jerk. He's puts on a facade of whatever he thinks will get him an in with the young'uns. The blonde and borderline autistic man he was in the Pablo Honey era, the quiet and mysterious yet """cute""" guy he pretended to be in the Alright Computer era, and then the enigmatic and politically driven individual he pretends to be now. But fools like you don't look past this obvious marketing ruse and think of him as the greatest genius of this generation.
I'd like to piss down the throats of everyone who thinks Radohed is a good band and make good music. Get some taste you fucking retards.

I just bought a used ipod online and it sounds so much fucking better than my phone because its from back when they had DAC. What does everyone use for playing music on the go?
>>73828933
Haven't used my ipod classic for 2 years or so since I got a Clip+. Much handier form factor. The ipod was once great because of storage capacity, but with flash storage being so massive and cheap now that advantage is gone.
It's still alive and kicking though. Got it in 2008 and has served me very well. Rockboxed it's still a great device.

You can actually buy an adapter for SD (or mini sd) cards for the old ipods. It is a little tricky but you basically replace the hard drive with the adapter. It can hold two cards so with two 512gb cards thats at least 1 tb in your ipod. I'm thinking of doing it because the adapter is only 30 bucks.
I'll check out the Clip +. How does it sound? I like big cans so I need something that can drive them.
