>he's a "musician" who works a "job"
why aren't you on welfare if you're serious about making music? inb4 muh gear.
>why aren't you on welfare if you're serious about making music?
what
Its easier these days to work part time than it is to be unemployed.
To be unemployed and get benefits you have to be at the bottom of the pile and desperate.
work p/t enough hours and you can get housing benefits, etc. but still have time to practise.
My day off work today, took my sax to under a motorway bridge and played it loud, being unemployed today is shit, 30 years ago it was easy.
New fag here, I've listened to few folk/rock albums in my lifetime (seeming though many people on this board obsess over these genres) and I was wondering how 'summer fags' like me could slowly adjust to these genres (I've looked in those charts made with all the albums in different genres and it doesn't seem to have a chart for fags like me so I came to this board directly). What should I be looking for if I don't find albums of this 'calibre' enjoyable? I can listen to Neutral Milk Hotel's In an aeroplane but it just doesn't click with me yet after a dozen listens. Hopefully I don't get shutdown too hard, thanks for any genuine replies, we all gotta start somewhere :)

His obsession with clowns and his wife is irritating. Other than that, first 3 albums were great.

You really expect people to fall for that?
Growing up isn't always simple. And lots of people turn to music for support. While I was a kid, and an angsty teen, and even a normal older teenager; I've enjoyed listening to Linkin Park (not many people even think of saying that, but few actually did like their music yes). Seeing all this extra negativity towards them today, it really hurts me man. Until a source that's not TMZ comes along, I wanna say he's alive still. Maybe it's denial. Maybe
I feel you. Linkin park really arranged the words neatly that described what i felt and it made me feel understood. As much as I can't associate to their old music anymore, their new ones sometimes do. Especially fucking One more light. I appreciate their effort to help on a global scale too with music for relief. they're a pretty great group of people even if their music isn't appreciated. Will always love, man.

Everyone deserves to have music, man.
LP's music just catered to the feelings that teenagers often have. It validated those feelings and honestly made me happier as an awkward, depressive teen.
I don't normally write this sort of pussy shit but the news has really upset me as well, suicide sucks.

But there were sources other than TMZ
what's the difference between this and lamar/west?
