Why can't you actually use a VHS camera? Why do you use shitty digital effects in IMovie?

You have to go back.

That song is ironic. He is actually mocking self hating whites.
when the heck will you dumb-dumbs realize that weed slam is the only good genre of music?
I'm more of a hentai slam guy myself.
>>73938375
hentai and anime slam in general is a meme, it has no future. anime goregrind on the other hand is god tier
Is Robert Ashley /mu/core? How long until he is mainstream like Dead Grips?
leave rob alone, he deserves better
ITT: songs that make u wanna sudoku knowing that the majority of normies like it and will make it outlast actually good patrician music that you, a misunderstood intellectual, understand and enjoy
"Wild Honey Pie"
Hello Fanatic
I thought this guy was badass when I was underage.
Anyone listen to his hipster radio?
I usually blare tunes during big fights on TV to make it epic. What should I play come august? It's boxing.

Limp Bizkit, chocolate starfish
Wow this album aged like shit.
If you ever want proof that indie rock being dead now is ultimately a good thing, go back and listen to this.

>Wow this album aged like shit.
I don't see why, the production still holds fine by today's standards.
You didn't provide any arguments, by the way.

well it's about a cancer patient and cancer was cured in OP's timeline

The late 00's early 10s were a bad time for music. Everything was too soft. Antlers, Beach House, Fleet Foxes, etc.

Guys this is really good, I heard it on WFMU today (which I should have heard about sooner. Greatest radio station in the country wfmu.org). Check it out, it's pretty damn good if you like really intense drony type shit (the song not WFMU. They play everything).
Yeah I suppose this should be a really cool music from unexpected sources thread.
Only post music in this thread if you DID NOT discover it through the internet. Word of mouth, record store weirdos, cool radio stations, I wanna hear the music you came to through special sources, something that was special and human to you that will probably stay with you because it has a memory that stayed with you.
I'm drunk and high but you know what? I love you fuckin weirdos.

Also write about your memory associated with the music. It's a special thing, treat it special and write something that is from your heart.
Cortesx is this french band that my friend Willaim showed me a few years back. They're this jazzy french band that has always stayed with me. I remember discovering that mf doom sampled them and i thought that was so cool. This band stayed with me because it was one of the first examples of music that i came across so out of my realm of white Midwestern taste that it just blew open what i thought possible with music. Mind you i was young, but this music came from one of my best two buddies and he impressed me so much with his musical knowlage that he permanently changed my appreciation for music. You know when you meet the first person like that in your life? That's pretty special. It only happens once man, and it's one of the first instances i remember of me being like, wow i don't know anything about this art form. Even though it may sound basic to some people, it;s pretty special to me.

that album is something else. jute gyte is probably the most extreme musician currently making music
i went to a local psych rock show about a year ago to see the guy from white fence play. this girl cate le bon was one of the openers and i don't usually care much about openers but holy shit she stole the show. i haven't been able to stop playing this album since

shit this is pretty good, thanks
love how relentless it is
My one i pretty boring but I saw this album in a record store so I took down the name and pirated it when I got home and loved it. I was just drawn to the cute nostalgic vibe of the cover. It turns out its the The Girl From Ipanema girl
I've fallen into a video hole on youtube and it's bad high school/ local band videos. Please share the worst your worst local bands.
