It's better than All Things Must Pass, but certainly not better than Ram.
What is the /mu/ consensus on Judas Priest? Favorite Album?
It seems pretty well-liked among /metal/. My personal favorite is either Screaming For Vengeance, or Painkiller.
fucking great, the perfect combo of metal riffs and bombast
and british steel of course

Defenders of the Faith is my personal favorite. You can't forget that one!
how do i into swans as a casual music listener ?
>>74094390
Start with Filth and work your way forward.
>>74094390
>how do i into swans as a casual music listener ?
you must develop a taste for drone and post rock before going into this to acclimate yourself to the kind of music swans make, for their earlier stuff listen to some industrial and no wave
>>74094390
start with Filth and listen to every era of the band in order to truly understand and appreciate their later work since they modern releases are made up of influence from every single era of Swans, so appreciating their early material is imperative.
This is not to say that The Seer, TBK and Glowing Man are their absolute best, far from it. But it's a bad jumping off point simply because of how much of the music is built up from influence from all of the other eras of the band
Imagine being such a /pol-cuck that you feel the need to shit on this obviously excellent album just because it features a few black performers and says "is this the end of America?" on one song.
There is no denying that the two rap songs are not great, but they are the only skippable songs on the album. Delete these two (as I will) and it's an easy 9/10. As is it's 8.5/10.
tl;dr: Lana remains a goddess with a perfect discography
>>74094368
The album is shit and Honeymoon was already a massive stain on her shitty discography.
She peaked at BTD and it only went downhill from there, her shtick got old after her first album and it's time for her retarded fans to accept that she's done.
>>74094368
I hate this album because every LDR album is made for pseudo-intellectual poptimists like yourself
>>74094416
>made for pseudo-intellectual poptimists like yourself
imagine thinking that if someone likes Lana it's because they are impressed with her pseudo-intellect
What does /mu/ think of this album?
made me proud to be british quite honestly
>>73950696
made me proud to not be british quite honestly
Was my 2016 AOTY for like a day
What's the next step in his master plan?
multiplication.
Fort Minor's sophomore album.

Hip-hop in general
>Jimmy Savile claimed to be the first ever DJ. According to his autobiography, he was the first person to use two turntables and a microphone, at the Grand Records Ball at the Guardbridge Hotel in 1947. Savile is acknowledged as one of the pioneers of twin turntables for continuous play of music
