Aaah, I remember this band, a third rate Coldplay clone that made Keane, Snow Patrol and Starsailor sound exciting
Also that cover is truly horrible
Their debut was decent though
>>73989241
Even as a kid i thought that cover was out of place. Looks made for a techno album.
ITT: recommend modern music for people who hate modern music

Were they the original Meme Rappers?
Nah, The Fat Boys were.
These guys made party music, that's not what meme rap is
You have the wrong definition of meme rap
back in the days when meme rappers were actually good
Is this band worth listening to?

Articulately explain why you think so.
Can you do it?
Kanye was never good.
Rap was never good.
Objectively.
Just stop.
I liked when Kanye's whole thing was he made music you could get down to after the church function with your girlfriend but also with your grandma. Now he's just up his own ass.
Albums that always cut up the onions.
albums that always cut the cheese
Every time
this has now become one of my favorite albums. how did they make something so good?
Its cool if you enjoy this album as long as you don't rave about it as a country album. Inevitably people who do that are When fans who don't know the first thing about country music.
Which might be why you like it so much, country is a genre that has a lot of good qualities that get missed because there's so much shifty country out there and its just so un-hip. But when a band you likedoes country ironically then you're able to give it a listen with a favorable disposition.
Really you owe it yourself to check out more country. I'd recommend Marty Robins - Gunfighter Ballads

is it really country? or is it ween does country?
>>73989438
or if he wants to try out some good modern country then I suggest hayes carll and corb lund as a starting point

For the most part it's classic Nashville country. Weird lyrics but it's got a very classic, and genuine sound. Only abnormal songs are Piss Up a Rope and Mr Richard Smoker. There's very little irony, you can tell that they have a real admiration for the music. Japanese Cowboy is one of their best.
