Why are the keys on a piano asymmetrical?
Why is music so hard to read?
Is music purposefully complicated to trick you into thinking musicians are talented?
they are not
it isn't
no

Have you never heard of tablature?
It's really not that hard. Just requires a little memorization. You could learn everything in a week, studying and memorizing a little each night. I literally learned it in music class as a kid, if kids can learn it, it's not too difficult. Forgotten most of it, though because I play guitar now and not the piano, which I played as a child. Easier to just use tabs for the guitar.
Thoughts on this? Still haven't listened to it
Hated it on first listen. Where was my comfy Pure Heroine v2? A few listens later I found elements of it in various tracks.
If Pure Heroine was 8.5/10 then Melodrama probably 7 to 7.5/10.
Standout tracks are Sober II (melodrama) and The Louvre

All he does is autisticly spazz out on the fretboard.
Half a year a go I got a Squier strat for pretty cheap. It looks like the one in the image, but it's HH and the only HH squiers I know are apart of the bullet series or have chrome on them. So again, /mu/ what stratocaster model do I have?

I can't imagine many people here like him. I really enjoy listening to this guy, 10 years ago and still today. Fun/clever/upbeat hip-hop. I'm not from the west coast and still appreciate it. Anyone else here who likes him have some similar artists or Nikatina discussion to discuss?

but why
don't hate listen to lana instead!
I have nothing but hatred towards all this fake-nostalgia, pseudo-vintage fad of the 2010's that Lana del rey is so guilty of.
Post vocaroos of yourself playing something, I'll start off with mine, the worst one ITT

So basically I decided to try alternate tuning on my violin, something which is rarely done, and then chose a fittingly strange song to play along with, "Kill Yr Idols"- Sonic Youth. It sounds like shit, mainly because I tried to make it fit the songs noisy chaos. If anybody finds it interesting I can try and flesh it out, since all I did in the recording was try and improvise with the song playing in the background.

This is a song I wrote a while back.
As far as that whole idea of discordant and chaotic type of stuff, I feel you op. I wrote this with a similar mindset
