I'm looking for a music video to an underground hip-hop song that I have seen here couple of years ago. There was a fat black rapper with a goatee rapping and crusing in 80's E30 BMW cabrio (like pictured) and talking on 80's style cellular phone. The whole video had that 80's vibe and VHS quality, but it's from '00s or '10 for sure.

Well, why do we call certain other genres their name, when originally, it means nothing close to the type of music it now represents. Take "Rock" for example. Before the term came around, it used to describe a naturally forming object. So, why not create our own name for a genre without a name. Also, "proto" could be a shortened form of the word "prototype". Which sort of sums up what memecore is. It is a prototype (if you would) of our collective minds (the internet) trying to create something new.

So, I got my hands on Rodrigo Amarante's 'Cavalo', hoping it would sound anything like Narcos' intro theme 'Tuyo'. That shit was disappointing, only thing that got a little close (atmospheric wise) was Buena Vista Social Club but have yet failed to live up to my wishes. Anyone got any tips on how to continue my search? Also, general bolero/pasillo/rancheras thread.
