All memes aside I really don't get why the "sub-/mu/core" section used to be called Pitchforkcore.
So this album is being hailed as the musical masterpiece of the century by pretty much every publisher and magazine out there, but I just don't get it. How is this album better than your typical rap album? Honestly, I don't even get the appeal of rap in general. I mean, what artistic values am I supposed to be searching for in this genre? No this isn't bait. I feel like I'm missing out on something grand, help me out here.

>So this album is being hailed as the musical masterpiece of the century by pretty much every publisher and magazine out there
No it isn't, it isn't even the most highly acclaimed album in his discography
It's got a wide variety of flows on it. Like, a very wide variety of flows. This means a versatile, more varied approach to the kind of rhythmic interplay that hip hop is known for on a track to track basis. While it's backing arrangement on this record isn't as melodically or structurally complex as his previous two records, there's still a lot of behind the scenes sophisticated production work happening on it.

How does it even work? Do kids still listen to nu-metal when they are angry at their parents, or do they consider it actual dad rock?

Where would music be if audio playback technology hadn't been invented and popularized ragtime?
