I don't lurk this board, I'm visiting from /ck/ but I found something that maybe some of you might like.
So my cousin posted this shit on fb about how she was at a show in 94 or 95 and was watching this band called Grey Daze. She didn't realize until recently that the singer in that band was the guy who eventually was singing for Link Park. Anyway, she posted the video of that show and I watched some of it and it really brought me back to 94. My cousins and I were all 14 at the time. I don't know. Here's the link. I knos Venetian Snares does a lot of work in Renoise, I couldn't tell you which albums/tracks though.
If you're thinking about getting it, I couldn't recommend it enough. My favorite DAW.

Also there's nothing stopping you from recording music on Audacity provided you're making music and not synthetic beats.
