He's a genius, you fucking idiots. The fact that you can't even wrap your head around his creative cadences that are beautifully jaxtaposed with state-of-the-arck production proves that you don't have a good creative sense. His minamlist lyrics parallel the growing dissatisfaction among young people with "mature," chaotic trivialities that seem to bog down society thanks to the old-fashioned societal paradigms enforced by conservatives and babyboomers. Pump sacrifices the tropes of out-dated hip/hop and diverts all of his creative energy to the emotion that drives young people that are trying to fix the broken ways of the world. Face it grandpa, you're just upset with the ever-impending doom of your existence that manifests itself in the dislike of new and promising artistic visions

ITT: albums that have at least one 10/10 moment in every song
>>74178007
That's one of my favorite albums of all time and Lose does not have a 10/10 moment
You guys gonna start posting some examples or what?
How am I gonna be a white rapper if I can't make my lines meter out by saying nigga 20 times in a track?

This is the better album
I only recently bothered to get into Kanye, and after listening to every album of his, I think College Dropout is my favorite, so can anyone recommend some bouncy, colorful, weirdly produced (at least for hip hop standards, especially upon release) records like this?
This guy called Spose
Jay-Z's The Blueprint features a lot of Kanye's production and uses soul samples a lot, just like CD. Also check out his Black Album, a few Kanye beats and a lot of soul samples as well.
Jcole friday night lights and the warm up remind me of college dropout in terms of some of the content and the presentation of the material.
Thoughts on this album? Excited for Saturation II? This really grew on me quite a bit, fav tracks: HEAT, BUMP, GOLD.
>>74177782
I thought it was really tacky on the first listen but I love it now. My favorite songs on it are FAKE, TRIP, BUMP, and STAR.
>>74177782
Not a cohesive listen, the autotune is a bit hamfisted, and a few hooks are terribly corny. But overall, it works. Starts better than it ends.
went from a 9/10 to a 7/10 for me
still really impressive and cant wait to see what they do next, but the album has some really annoying flaws.
dom is a really boring mc
there will never be enough merlyn
vocal effects are overused and ruin some perfect tracks
some of the hooks are really weak (trip, bank, milk)
swim is bad
Forget about Tyler now being able to be taken seriously even after Goblin, Jay Z is now able to be taken seriously even after Pound Cake. That's an even bigger miracle.
>>74177670
>Jay Z is now able to be taken seriously even after Pound Cake
>Pound Cake was better than a good chunk of Magna Carta Holy Grail
>Forgets about lackluster Drug Dealers Anonymous verse
>>74177702
Pound Cake as a song, minus Jay, was perfectly fine.
Jay's verse should've effectively killed his career.
His Monster verse was a far bigger L. That verse still catches shit today
What's that song you really want to dance to with a cute girl, but are afraid you never will?
