>mom wanted to say something and i had to take my headphones off
>tfw it broke the feeling and ambiance of the whole album and I have to play it from the start again
what a bitch
Grow up.

i know right
my fucking BITCH of a mom does dumb shit too all the time
I HATE MOM, U WITH ME BOIS????
At what age do you grow out of music? At what age does listening to indie twee pop 19 year old college kid music become pathetic?
Am I correct in my assumption that /mu/ has the most teenagers out of all the boards on 4chan?
you've been acting mean here lately san
I mean if you're a braindead sped whose only frame of reference for "music" ranges from twee pop to shoegaze to midwest emo, and for whom the word "BORING" flashes in his peanut brain when he hears the very genres "jazz" or "classical" brought up in conversation, to say nothing of the multitudinous subgenres of art music, then yes you would be very correct in your simplistic assumption that most teenagers grow out of "music" at an early age!

I was asleep, woke up and saw the news on facebook and thought it was one of those fake celeb death things and fell back asleep. Woke back up later and saw that it was real. I just sat there feeling a mix of emotions.
On the couch in my dorm at like 2am
I listened to Life on Mars then went to sleep
listening to Hybrid Theory and Blurryface back to back.

What did he mean by this?
Who gives a fuck, he's this generation's closest thing to Oppenheimer
>keep it retarded, I didn't pass elementary school but the retards listening to my music produced by other people don't care
That's what he meant.

woah... right...
Why do Japanese make cool rock music and Koreans make shitty idol pop?
this is why everyone needs to make sure they never go past 80% weeb
Japanese are more "westernized" in their culture so to speak (mostly due to American influence post-WW2). They still keep traces of that (see: Jpop and Idol Groups in Japan) but unlike Korea who is very much an Eastern country following their traditions to a T, the Japanese tend to be a bit more open to Western things (not that much, though). Thus, the Japanese don't mind people straying from the path that much and making stuff they want to make rather than stuff for what they percieve as "the greater good".
Thus, Japanese rock in its all forms.

>tfw have embraced the weeb
feels good desu
The songs all sound the same: A fucking wall of sound with zero dynamics that crushes your ears. And /mu/ always claims that it needs to be played loud. The album is loud by itself for fuck sake, good luck with your tinnitus. This album is absolute dogshit
I don't think it's dogshit, but it's definitely incredibly overrated. Just like SILY. 4 or 5/10
Come In Alone is one of the most accessible song in it. Give it a try again.
To Here Knows When is the greatest song ever.
Ranked them according to music not looks.

If /mu/ existed in 1989, would They Might Be Giants be the equivalent of The Death Grips?

But where's the homeless black guy?
Nah, they're too goofy sounding. They'd be more like the equivalent of Ariel Pink.

ITT: Post pictures of the album Move Like This by The Cars. You can post other pictures as well if you want but I'd like the main focus to be posting Move Like This.
