For the most part I just listen to music while browsing 4chan or playing vidya, but when I really want to focus on an album, I turn off all the lights, take off my clothes, roll my self into a blanket like a worm and listen just lying on the floor wrapped up in a blanket. It just helps me focus more on the music.

The album that showed a world other than pleb music.
For me it was Blackstar I heard it and immediately went back and listened to his whole discography. I used to only listen to radio hits and a LOT of EDM, but going through all his albums he had so many great sounds especially his 70's period I was inspired to venture out and found so much great music in the world.

I saw Flying Lotus at a grocery store in Los Angeles yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.
He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”
I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

I try to respond to reader input/requests, and I've been published professionally, so I consider myself a cut above the thousands of hobbyists. I try to keep the memes to a minimum and just make it about the music. I like to cover good stuff that unjustly didn't have a lot written about it for whatever reason.

Last time I made a thread, a few people suggested I buy some ads. I chose to write about OK Computer for its 20th anniversary release and spent a bit of cash to promote it, so we'll see how that goes. I've also been writing about the new Nick Lowe reissues, in case there's some Nick fans here.
For reader requests, I finally finished my review of Sun Kil Moon's Common as Light, and did Prefab Sprout's Jordan: The Comeback a while back.

I don't think any rap album could be considered a 10/10. It's not that I don't like rap music, I just think there's inherent flaws to the genre that have yet to be surpassed.
