Thoughts on them?
Aerials, lonely day, and holy mountains are good songs.

First album is great. slowly downhill after. biggest mistake was letting nasally guitar player sing more.

Good band
When will the music industry get over Trump becoming president?
Until he's impeached and we get Mike "Zap the Gay Away" Pence and then liberals realize how retarded they were
You just don't understand, a Trump presidency is LITERALLY the worst thing fucking ever!!
REEEECIIISSSTTTSS GEETTT OUUUTTTT
They won't until he's out of office and long dead. Trump is a nightmare to hardcore liberals more so than any other president in recent memory, even Bush. I know it's a meme, but I know a few people who actually had meltdowns over his election. Pretty crazy stuff.
Bands that made one god tier album and then died off, go go go

Op is a Fag - KYS
>Be Ariel Pink
>create beautiful perfect hooks and intros
>waste them on songs that are too repetitive with poor structure

hes said in a recent interview he does that on purpose.
so i can't blame him.
he will never live up to his potential
10/10 album tho
>>74414454
sauce on that interview?
It finally clicked!
Your autism finally clicked?

Nice one. Pablo Honey is objectively better than The Bends, Hail to the Thief, In Rainbows, King of Limbs and Moon Shaped Pool.
>>74414487
Actually they're all equally bad.
Best Zep Album?

Shitty dad rock
Led Zeppelin is garbage
>>74414153
Physical Graffiti, but I've been listening to Led zep I and Presence a lot lately
>>74414174
this but unironically
After listening to this album on repeat while reading along with lyrics, I'm still convinced it is one of the most esteemed and marvelous hip-hop records of all time. What's your opinion on this masterpiece?
>Eating up his innards in unfeasible anxiety is brutally committed to relinquishing his privacy aligning with the trials of the anti-Midas
>Nap on the back lawn, look up at the sky, it's...
It was my album of 2016 and seeing him on tour was one of the best shows I've ever been to.
If you like Impossible Kid, make sure you check out Lice and Lice 2. They're dope.

Aesop has definitely grown on me after releasing Skelethon and /mu/ should really give him a listen, an intent listen. His sentence structure keeps reaching and reaching to paint the most elaborate imagery of his life in a unique and elequent way. Baffles me how he does it. The man must browse /lit/ or something.
Been a huge fan for years, but I don't think that album is anything special - it's really literal and sentimental, just about being older. Not a lot of meat on it.
I only just heard these guys. Blame Spotify.
I want to know what /mu/ thinks.
Personally I immediately thought they were horrible. They sound like indierock/pop metal with low energy.
I really enjoy listening to Ghost while I probe my ass with a dildo and drink water from plastic bottles
they're objectively bad.

Glad I still have taste lol
Who had the best version of Hallelujah?
Jeff Buckley immediately
John Cale
List of music genres Steve Albini dislikes:
>electronic dance music
>jazz
>heavy metal
>hip-hop
>>74413626
Oh no! Looks like he has good taste
>>74413626
one of these is not like the other...
disliking anything is a personal failing
What does the Rock genre need to do in order to be big in the mainstream again? Or is it just dead forever?
It needs to start hitting a middle class to lower class demographic with big market infiltration, basically, and one that can be advertised as more than "white guys from somewhere in America/England" - whether nu-male-esque or full out cockrocking, it has to be something advertisable.
>>74413613
it's not about what rock can do, it's just that the general populace is too degenerate
yes you heard that right, too degenerate for rock n roll
More bands like Fozzy to fill the void left by the Seattle scene.
Also need more lyrical masterpieces rather than cut and paste mantras.
i enjoy grimes's music but i fucking abhor the grimes worship threads
is there music for this feel
Funny, I abhor "music for this feel" threads myself.
>>74413546
What's wrong with these worship threads? Do you actually take them seriously?
>>74413918
It's fine as long as they stick to their thread, but as soon as they start leaking into other threads that have nothing to do with Grimes and start circlejerking about her it becomes a problem
*deletes I Want To Be Well*
