>In early 2010, Birdman formed an oil and gas exploration company, Bronald Oil and Gas, LLC. The company was a joint venture founded by Birdman and his brother Slim, and the name was a combination of the brothers' first names, Bryan and Ronald. Evidence of the company's actual business operations was scant, limited mostly to a website and the appearance of a "pumpjack" tattoo on the side of Birdman's head. The website indicated that the company's strategy would be to first develop existing land holdings and seek out new oil and gas leases. In February 2010, Birdman told Ozone magazine that he had been in the oil business for "4 or 5 years" and was "making very good money off that".
>However, by March 2010, Birdman had almost completely covered the pumpjack tattoo, which sparked speculation that the Bronald Oil project had stalled. An investigative report from Bloomberg revealed that official regulators in charge of oil and gas permits had never heard of Bronald.

you literally have tumblr girl taste in music.
Your taste is fine, not super out there and fairly typical for someone who talks about music casually online but not weird enough that people are going to be entirely turned off when you talk about music. It's like internet dudebrocore though.

AS IT ALL DISAPPEARS
so the 90s started in 1987
The "90s" as a cultural term started in 1988 and ended in 2001

>>74456819
Actually the 80s ended in 1989 when the Berlin Wall fell, and the 90s started when Nevermind was released

You'd have to check, but I'm gonna assume it has something to do with underage folks and getting out of high school around then.
This is unironically a great album.

Mah niggah.
In Too Deep is a bit too schmaltzy for me (makes me appreciate the ballads on Duke a lot more), and I'd rather have had Do The Neurotic over The Brazilian though.
>>74455406
The Brazilian is fine. It would've been a great prologue to Domino if they were paired in the tracklist.

WHY DIDN'T I GET A STICKY?
I just started listening to The Cure (Disintegration) and I really enjoy the moodier stuff on most of the album. Favorite tracks are the title track, Love Song, and Fascination Street, with Same Deep Water as You and Homesick close behind that. I love the percussion and really just the whole sound of the album, with all those synthy bits and big reverb tails to everything on those looong melodic intros.
I don't really enjoy the happier-sounding songs on the album (Pictures of You, Plainsong, etc). Usually these are the more praised tracks on the album, so most places I find online suggesting music like that on Disintegration go for that feeling instead. Getting into this genre I was expecting mostly everything to have the kind of gloomy-yet-beautiful vibe that the tracks I listed as my favorites have, but I find that a lot of it just falls somewhere in between. Hoping I'll have better luck here.
So I'm requesting music that falls into that category. Moody, bittersweet, emotional themes over big atmospheres with driving basslines and rhythms.... NOT Pictures of You
