That would be VESPERTINE by icelandic singer/songwriter BJÖRK, which by the day shits all over that generic indie pop album

Does /mu/ like Tweaker or Vrenna in general. I used to listen to him a lot in high school but have never seen him mentioned here, even in vidja threads.
Is that like Eels?

Some songs, maybe. Tweaker is pretty eclectic

how the fuck can anybody be pro Brian Wilson? He basically destroyed the Beach Boys by surrendering to his demons. Mike Love, Al Jardine and his own Father couldn't get through to him. He treated his own life like a joke and tried to turn the Beach Boys into a joke as well. Thank god Love had a big enough spine to stand up to the wayward leader and eventually correct the course of the ship. God bless you

Really good pop album. "Dreams Tonite" is what a Beach House influence sounds like
I've pretty much been listening to it all day. Alec and Molly are a legitimately underrated pair of guitarists underneath all the sugary pop appeal. That's pretty much why they outdo pretty much all of the other bands doing the whole dreamy indie jangle pop thing. Lollipop is the most explicitly pop song but they manage to make the harsh screeches in the second verse feel so natural. They dig way deeper into their influences here than on the s/t and it brings out the best in them. The rhythm guitar underneath that main jangle on Hey is crazy catchy.

no it doesn't

bad music is generally more visible, easier to find, and less challenging. that being said, music that's legitimately awful and irredeemable generally doesn't really get listened to
