What rappers have a majority black fanbase?
>>74343589
Eminem
Underground/local rappers in major black-population cities. Like Chicago, Atlanta, Philly, etc.
Also 50 Cent. People in Africa fucking love 50 Cent.
i don't think any mainstream rappers at this point have a majority black fanbase but i've generally found that the white rap fans i know listen to kanye, run the jewels, and memerap while the black rap fans i know listen mostly to trap.

agreed
>>74343425
you sure are generous with your ratings
what other albums merit a 9/10 or 10/10 in your opinion?
It's more like a 6 or 7 at best. Papercut is better than everything else too.
Is U2 the worst band of all time?
Dude, Bono is like two Jesuschrists

stuff like this?
How normie is this band /mu/?
Not very, you'd have to be weird or a fan of mid 2000s internet bands to even know who they are.
I've Got Some Falling To Do is easily their best track.
>>74343338
But this album is patrician though

>>74343305
You hadn't heard that song until now?
>>74343465
I don't usually listen to folk music. Do you know any other songs where the singers voice is powerful like this one?
This isn't even the best version of this song

more like the Mental Illness Enablement Center
This isn't the first time by the way
>When an Executive Order was issued earlier this year barring immigrants and refugees from seven Middle Eastern countries from entering the United States, we held a wildly successful fundraiser for the ACLU.
Why does no one ever talk about this record? It's one of the best RHP releases
>>74343287
I think it's a case where the production is actually too pristine for some people. The hazy, quieter and droning sound of the earlier albums was easier on the ears in a way.
>>74343634
that's fair enough, this does sound a bit more like a Sun Kil Moon release. still, really phenomenal stuff.
it remains a mystery why almost every performing musician from the early 20th century played with such musicality, understanding, imagination, personality, artistry and marvellous taste, and today, almost nothing is left of this tradition. why? everyone plays all the notes correctly but forgets to listen to himself, to use his imagination. and then, there are these horrible pianos of today...
I'd guess it's because now everyone can become an artist - with no previous musical knowledge.
Don't get me wrong though, there are still many talented musicians today, but you wont find them on the summer pop playlist on Spotify.
>>74343246
Whats wrong with the pianos?
>>74343295
I am not sure how they do it, but over the last decades, many Steinways have started more and more to sound like Yamahas. Glorified Cling-Clang boxes basically.
What is really depressing is that as a result a whole generation of players has now come into existence who do not know any better, who have no idea what you are talking about if you try to discuss with them the greater sound of the pianos of the past. They honestly think that that cold sound is the norm; the best there is; how it "should" sound.
