You could easily say that about half of the stuff on Electric Ladyland. Even the songs that don't showcase his guitar playing front and center are marvels of songwriting and production.

Are there any albums like it? I think There's a Riot Goin' On has a similar feel, but it's got more funk influence (not a bad thing at all).
