I'm going to see Swans in few days play in this local theater. How enerving will it be to have to sit through the entire thing?
WOW!
Don't you love it when 85% of the album is literally filler trash!
It's a pretty strong album all the way through. I like it quite a bit.
shes so cute
>tfw you are are converting from a patrician sperg into a normie
Is anyone else really sensitive to sounds? If I hear my mom moving things in the other room I have to start pacing or touching things

Rap is music. Bad music, but music all the same.
The worst shit is that crap rap you hear teeny boppers play over their fucking vine videos. Its auto tuned scattered ass piss covered with gay sounding high hats and 1 second snares. My piss splash sounds better.
Tom Waits Cover... My vocals aren't quite like his but I try... : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NmLTXY4uh5M

I have a theory on why the Beatles receive so much hate yet simultaneously so much love from this board. Because of mutants' inherent desire to be as patrician as possible, they write the Beatles off as the most entry level music that earth has to offer, (which isn't 100% wrong) and immediately write off any fan as either 14 years old or pleb. However, what few on this board realize is that this band was a rare example of musicians who were the best at what they did, and at the same time the most popular. They have an undeniably beautiful discography, yet because of everything outside of that, they are not regarded as legitimate taste in music. Learn that the most influential music act in modern history is not successful solely because of its music, and not solely because of its popularity, but because they flawlessly pulled off both.

did you actually fall for Scaruffi's meme?
>>74364556
The Beatles wrote songs that are easy to understand, well played, immaculately produced, and immensely popular. Some people can't stand that - they prefer songs that are incomprehensible, sloppily played, lo-fi, and generally obscure. These people are not patricians.

We all love The Beatles, some people just think they're overrated and they are, but it's not their fault. They did nothing but great songs, why would anyone hate them unironically? I can't think of any reason other than the fact that John Lennon beat his wife.
Is "Shook Ones" the best hip hop song of all time?

By what metric? In the category 'Songs To Jerk Off To' it performs rather poorly t.b.h. but I do feel very black when I listen to it, ready to shoot some fools or something similar
all the songs on that album are good

This "ironically annoying" shit is getting so fucking old.
hey so i'm currently in the process of trying to record/arrange an album, and i think i have a pretty solid set of songs to draw from, but i have no idea what i'm doing beyond the stripped-down stuff i play live. any advice for building up songs in recording? especially sources of background noise/atmosphere, stuff beyond the core instrument parts. i'm thinking like bill callahan/smog here
I don't frequent the general, but there is a production general that's always up and you'd probably get better answers thereb

Is this a good album to trip to? I've only heard it once all the way through, but it sounds like It would be. Also, other albums to trip to?
