Hi /mu/. I never cared for alternative rock music or Ween but this album is really my thing. What are some albums like it? I heard Ween's other stuff is different. I like the melancholy and sadness and the dark humour in Quebec. So take it into your consideration please.
ween does a lot of different styles of music, but the humor and darkness is there on a lot of their albums. try their album the mollusk

Ween limited themselves only once to one genre for one album, that is 12 golden country greats, rest of their albums are multi-genre. the "melancholy, sadness and dark humour" thing has always been present on Ween's music, from the first record to the last. Try the entire discography, it's absolutely worth it.

OP again. Mates thank you. I am starting off with their first album. Any other bands though? I listened to The Lonesome Crowded West by Modest Mouse and it also gave me the same vibes with Quebec albeit a bit angrier.
what do you guys think Cuckiferian Towers will sound like?
Their heaviest album yet
So most of /mu/ won't like it since most of /mu/ doesn't like metal
Death grips

fuck, I'm so rock hard for this album. I can't wait.
Overall effect on the music scene aside, who was more influential for actually GOOD music?
The Beatles any way you put it. Denying that is pretty dumb.

what are you excited for this Q3 - 4, /mu/?
I am excited as fuck, but you should also be excited that my album, Brainmelter, drops next saturday.
Hey /mu/, what's a great Swans starter album? One that's both not too long, and not too difficult. Maybe later on I'll get into one of their longer and louder projects.
just go chronologically
>It was Coney Island, they called Coney Island the playground of the world
>There was no place like it, in the whole world, like Coney Island when I was a youngster

Who controls what you hear and what is popular? Is what is popular necessarily good? Could the best album of all time be some obscure unheard of thing ome guy made in his basement?
