Has your local music scene (or the closest thing to it) ever created a genre/subgenre?
Post an example and the wikipedia page if there is one.
How bad is it?

Because Annie Mac goes around the closed clubs in the UK it's like well yeah, you and your employer are part of the debate but your taking yourself out of it. "Did we not etc. etc. etc.

hey /mu/
what's some modern day post-hardcore that's worth listening to?
i enjoy some of the classics, ATDI relationship of command, fugazi repeater, refused shapes of punk to come, hell even some thrice..
im having a hard time getting into most modern bands though i'm not too much a fan of the emotional hardcore style (not even talking about proper emo and screamo/skramz). just that a lot of bands go for the full body tattoo + rockballad with radiofriendly melody and screaming backup vocals on the hook trope.
so yeah, what do you think's worth listening to? cheers

you deserved it.
recreate all the songs you had from memory on a 4 track with a casio keyboard that also has built in drums and a mic
then record it off the mic port on your pc using an aux with quarter inch on the end for the headphone port on the deck

I'm listening to this right now, discovered it when it came up on YouTube recommendations, posted about it earlier today too.

Intro is my favourite track, but the whole album is pretty catchy. I really like "Lonely Planet Girl" too, it was released as a single.

thank you for the quick reply
it is a fine recommendation

Heart on Wave is also a catchy tune

Do these people still exist? If they do, where can I find them?
>>74412337
This is the kinda chart some dickhead with ABBA Gold rated 5 stars on their carefully curated RYM page posts.
Anyway, 'mallgoths' do exist in 2017, unfortunately. If you live somewhere civilised or in the US just go to your local Hot Topic to find them, but you'll be lucky to find one that knows even half the artists on this list.
>>74412337
>SOAD
>Manson
>Zombie
>Escape the Fate
>MSI (ironically enough, as much as they probably do count for this, i should also point out jimmy himself makes fun of them all the time in their concerts and even made a track dissecting the style)
above are the only actual acts i've seen a mallgoth point out. shit list, if it wasn't for patton's albums i'd assume Qwerty100 wrote this
>>74412858
also forgot to mention this, but anytime i hear anybody knocking something for being "randum", i on principle never talk to that fucker again, i've grown tired of that shit excuse to hate something
+ one more (hand-finished Ugly God image)
