I've been texting him occasionally for months now and no matter what I said he would leave my on read hours later. But today I happened to message him while he was on the app, as he opened it immediately. So I started saying stuff like "danny pls reply" over and over and he said this.

I sometimes feel isolated as a rock fan for my preferences. It seems like most of the people that are primarily interested in and passionate about rock music are really into metal and hardcore and maybe they have some time for Green Day but it's like 10-15% of what they listen to. I feel like all the sites and podcasts built around rock music are so much more geared towards the heavier end of things. The only releases I like this year from anything approaching heavy music are from The White Noise, Eighteen Visions, Zeal & Ardor, and Dead Cross. I feel like one of the only people whose main sphere of influences are bands like Blink, Weezer, and The Gaslight Anthem.

Why are people actively boycotting my music? Only 2 followers on Soundcloud, where I used to have hundreds on my old account. My YouTube was also censored for inappropriate content and boycotted.
