They're National songs, sound like National songs, and will merge like all their songs into a continuously coagulating dad rock sludge where Matt Berninger's whisky soaked beard is inches from your face at all time, and the Dressner brothers play a normie lick every few seconds, like they're the second coming of Christ that are too precious to show their true balls on record.

God I wish the band had more personality sometimes.

I like that house thing. It looks cozy. I don't care for the electronics/production. That's in everything now. Their strongest stuff was in meaty guitars and drums.

You would think since the Dessner brothers having a lot of classical experience they would have tried something more adventurous by now. The last two albums have been fine but the last time they did something great was Boxer.

The new stuff sounds like TWFM with electronic elements. Wish they would branch out more.

Hello /mu, /lit here. reading this and when ever a song plays in the book I listen to it on YouTube. Got me thinking, i haven't listened to music since I was 16. What should I listen to? What's good these days? Back then the killers had just come out with that song with the cowboys in the video. That was nice.
