I was listening to Les Fleurs song yesterday and I was blown away. Now I can finally see where the Katamari Damacy got their influence from.
Is grindcore music a subgenre of metal or punk? I can't decide.

ITT: The best and worst of pop punk ballads.
One of the worst things about living in a post Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life) world is that every pop punk band acts like they are obligated to write a pop punk ballad, not only once in their career but on every album they ever release.
Neck Deep's December and A Part of Me and State Champs' If I'm Lucky are among the better examples and even then they're just alright.
Waterparks' 21 Questions is among the more meh end.
Fall Out Boy's I'm Like A Lawyer is brilliant and the closest they've ever come to a ballad, but I know they've never fully written a ballad.
Examples and opinions?
>A Part of Me
>Just alright
Never mind that it's typically the first song that comes to mind when you think of them, but it's disputably one of the best Pop Punk ballads of the 2010's period.
Anyways, Navy Blue by The Story So Far is certainly worth mentioning; its lyrical simplicity and somber guitar tone work perfectly in accordance with each other to create a beautifully simple song. It's one of the best tracks they've ever put out.

It's punk
>>74624823
Clairvoyant is better then Navy Blue.
Is there a single objective metric by which jazz is superior to classical? Just by longevity of public and cultured interest alone, classical wins by orders of magnitude
Ethnic diversity
>>74624289
Can you hear ethnic diversity?
>>74624306
I think African rhythms were far more complicated than European ones. Jazz incorporated that. I'm not an expert so read A GENERATIVE THEORY OF TONAL MUSIC or something

>>74623965

I'm so pleb that I don't really concentrate on production or then I just listen really shitty or really well produced albums all the time
>>74623965

My music library got deleted, what music from David Bowie should I download?
Scary Monsters, Heathen, and Station to Station
download this song only
https://youtu.be/avJt0SQec0I
just download an album when you want to listen to it
a comprehensive digital music library is not worth having and commonly available stuff like Bowie doesn't require a local copy
