Weird Al made a Jazz album? *faints*
WHAT UP, BLOOD?!
>Quits G Unit
>Every album he made since is better than anything 50 could ever put out.
Surely not a coincidence.

Haven't heard much by The Game, but thanks for the rec. Also, why is he doing the sideways peace sign thingy? Who started that trend?

What does /mu/ think of Hans Zimmer?
>>74556380
bretty gud man, Dark Knight and Inception are fun, Interstellar is kinda boring at times but MUH ORGANS is really neat
He's a hack.
He phones it in most of the time and only seems interested when he's working with someone like Nolan.
Emotional dishonesty can apply, as in Godspeed You Black Emperor, but think more Springsteen forced emotion music.

no, i have friends and i go outside :)
I listened to this song for the first time in a long while and, good god, the mix sounds so horrendous. Shakira's vocals are way to up front and louder than anything else like, rather than sounding like part of the song it sounds like the instruments and Wyclef are one thing that was recorded separately then Shakira went into the studio leaning as close as she can to the microphone holds up a speaker some distance from the microphone that's playing the Wyclef & instruments part while she sings her vocals. It sounds that shitty and that unprofessional.
Seriously, one of the worst fucking mixes/production of an otherwise fairly nice pop tune I've ever heard.
A good amount of 80's hits and albums would probably sound a LOT better if they weren't produced in the 1980's. lol
>get into a band
>realize they toured nearby months before you got into them
>that was their last tour
literally fucking MBV
>>74556177
It was alright but it ended up as a self-indulgent noise show.
>>74556159
This but it probably wasn't their last show.
Overall, I've indirectly cockblocked myself tons of times
Any questions?

So far, Roger Waters. I've heard he can be a real schmuck, but I saw an interview with him on television a few years ago, and he seemed quite intelligent. My respect for him jumped by 50% after the interview was over. Smart man with a lot to say about the state of the world today.

Tonight We All Make Love in London. It's a documentary about the start of the British psychedelic underground music scene in 1967 and features a live performance of Interstellar Overdrive at The UFO Club. I think even John Lennon and Paul McCartney make a cameo appearance in the film as audience members. (They don't get up and play, though)

I'm getting married in two weeks and I'm doing the music for my reception, but I'm struggling to get a good mix of slow songs for slow dancing.
Any suggestions? Preferably songs that span multiple generations.

My mom loves Johnny Cash, Harry Chapin, The Beatles and Simon & Garfunkel. She also loves the soundtrack to Man of La Mancha. She's 51.
