Well the interview is up there
pic related. What are some upbeat albums that you listen to stay in the zone doing work (writing, number crunching, etc)? Another example I can think of off the top of my head is Fang Island. I'm looking for the opposite of chill/study music. Something that keeps things hype, without being distracting. Mostly instrumental helps
I listen to metal in other languages, it's just engaging enough that I get motivated, but not too engaging that I get distracted, as you don't know what they're saying.
when i'm studying for uni i listen to ambient stuff usually, it's subtle enough not to be distracting, and also helps me keep a tempo, helps me remember stuff by associating information with sound, and provides an interesting background noise
trance is my go-to for this
>popular music is inherently superior more obscure music
>I don't care for music of today
>production doesn't matter

Is this a good song? It's the first thing I've written that actually IMO is kinda catchy.

sounds pretty standard
It sounds like actual music, I'll give you that. I could believe this as a track on a real neofolk artist's album. Not a particularly good one, but "real" in a way lots of /mu/scians fail to accomplish. Can't explain it. Keep writing.
I like it man, it is pretty catchy
I remember seeing a Björk photograph where she wears a costume like an armor with crystal spikes and vagina heart, it can be from vulnicura era because of the vagina. If you help me find it I'll give you 3 good songs from my country.

Spare me your "muh instrumentation" and "muh innovation" rebuttals and give OCA a listen.

the production is ass
too many 90s midi rompler keyboards
>he doesn't play an instrument
>he thinks his opinions matter at all
>he plays guitar
>at a fucking guns and roses tribute band
>thinks his opinion matters
>someone tells me he "plays an instrument"
>he can't play all of his major/minor scales and arpeggios fluidly and effortlessly, improvise proficiently in a jazz setting, and play at least three pieces from the instrument's classical repertoire

>>75111195
The sound of myself crying cause besides all my suffering in life i must suffer from back pain as well. I wish my parents never fucked
Johnny Cash - Hurt
>tfw wagecuck
>tfw too tired to listen to music now
whenever I listen to something now I just zone out and not pay attention or just fall asleep from exhaustion
i have the same fucking problem. i'm at work wasting time
If I ever have to get a job I will kill myself im not joking
>>75111032
>just got a job at a record store
>have to move boxes all day
>calls me in really irregularly not enough to live on 1 or 2 days a week
this sucks what jobs even are there that dont make you want to die? ive worked in a cafe and deli before both fucking sucked. i have a college degree but its meaningless (art school). i literally cant think of a single thing id like to do for a job.
I would love it if someone could find me an album better.
