The first two albums are excellent. I really liked the transition from traditional instruments to electronic with the increasing industrialization in the story during Act 2, it was pretty genius.

Can't say I liked them when I gave them a shot but it's more because of the gaming culture that treated it like it was "their music" than their attempt at making some Jim Steinman program music/concept albums. A for effort though.

Firstly this just sounds like a pretty bog standard acid rock song from the 60s.
Secondly even if some obscure band invented metal before Sabbath it wouldn't matter because Sabbath had far more influence on music.
